Comment and tell me all about your biggest success and the biggest hurdle that you’ve overcome so far. If you have a question or comment that you feel is too personal to share here, feel free to email me at lindseym@idealshape.com. I can’t wait to read about your first two weeks!
I went from 1200 calories or less per day up to roughly 1500 in hopes to kick start my metabolism but I’ve actually gained two pounds. Do I keep it up or should I cut back. I’ve been following the plan but only have one working knee so I can’t do much in the way of excercise. What do you think?
Give it at least two weeks before you cut back! Just a few days doesn’t tell us much. Stick with it for a while longer!
I’ve been doing the idealshakes for 2 weeks now & I’m down 3lbs…I’m super excited & looking forward to losing more ?
I have been doing the shakes for 2 weeks along with exercise 3-5 days a week at the gym. I don’t follow the plan but I drink two shakes a day along with a sensible meal and healthy snacks. I finally have energy, lost 11 pounds and 9 inches all over! I even had a planned cheat meal, sushi my favorite! 🙂
I’m so happy it’s working for you! Congrats!
day 15, I lost 6 lbs and have maintained, but was disappointed that I hadn’t lost more, until I watched this check in video! I and others have noticed visible weight loss and I feel more energetic and strong! I completed 13.1 half marathon and biggest challenge has been trying to eat 5 times a day, since I am used to not eating enough! Signed up for 5 mile March of Dimes and 5k black light run both on 4-16
Well It was a slow start but it’s finally happening. I have working out 5 of 7 days religiously with beach body and turbo jam, not to mention walking 1 1/2 miles a day with my dog. I also am eating healthy and ideal shake losing 13 pounds. Clothes fit once again. Yeah! Ideal shake Mocha tastes great and look forward to more results!
I have lost 10 pounds since I started two weeks ago! I try to follow the plan closely, most days doing two shakes, two snacks, 1 meal. I am recovering from a knee injury, but should be returning to the gym soon! I now have 5 tubs of shakes, 8 boxes of bars, and plenty of boost to last me!
I have already lost 8 lbs since I started the shakes on feb 8. dont know exactly how many calories im consuming a day but I know im way below 2000, replacing 2 meals a day and little healthy snacks in between. I m happy
I have lost about 3 lbs after the first 2 weeks! It’s really exciting! I even had a few cheat meals here and there!
I actually have only been on for 7 days- down 2.5 lbs. Good all day- still have a sweet tooth at night. thats my biggest hurdel I want something at night around 9 pm.
some days I subsitute 2 meals with shakes, other days I just do 1 shake & a healthy lunch
like salad with tuna. Cookies & cream shake tastes amazing1 what other shake tastes just as good
Not loving the ideal bar chocolate peanut butter.
Exercise is hard I have 2 herniated discs.
I too have a sweet tooth and I find that the Chocolate meal replacement with 2 tbsp PB2 hits the spot. Its like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup…….YUM!
I am 2 days into week 6 and I have lost 19lbs. I am so excited can’t wait to see what the next few weeks have in store for me.
I love your shakes i have 2 a day for breakfast, and lunch i started at 190 pounds i am down to 185.8 pounds im so excited and im going to keep it up not sure how many inches iv lost but i know i lost because my stomach is smaller. I weigh in every week to see progress. And i take pictures when i start a new week.
Anastasia…congratulations.
As of now I’ve only lost about 3 pounds, but I have noticed I lost inches. Jeans that I couldn’t fit over my hips before finally buttoned again! And we were on vacation for a few of these days so I didn’t drink my shakes. Working out 6 days a week with a shake with almond milk and a couple services of PB2 in each mix for added fiber and protein to make it a decent lunch.
I have lost 3.5 pounds
I am only on day 7 , doing 2 shakes a day. Following the plan. Down 2.5 pounds. I really like the plan. Easy to follow. Shakes are great. Takes a day or two to get use to the flavor, then you crave them. Already ordered more on the get 1 free special. Already had lost 30 pounds 2 years ago doing low carb. Kept it off then gained 5 pounds back so this is my plan to take off the next 10 pounds and get to my goal. So I am off to a great start. Soon the weather will be better to get outside and exercise.
I have been sticking with the plan and working out everyday…. Tons of cardio and I’ve actually gained a couple pound but my clothes are getting loose so I’m assuming I’ve lost inches, so I’m ok with that…. It will be nice to see the scale go down soon tho.
Hi Audrey! Have you taken your measurements? It sounds like you might be losing inches! Sometimes when you are working out, you might not see the scale change but see a difference in your body because you are gaining muscle. Do you weigh yourself at the same time of day? Try weighing in the morning before you eat. 🙂
I haven’t quite made the two week mark but after 10 or so days I’m down about 4 pounds! I haven’t really begun to workout on a daily basis, but that’s my next goal!
I have been following the plan for two weeks, only down 1 pound. A little disappointed because I’ve been doing so well. Stayed under my calories, 2 shakes a day, getting my water in, and going to the gym at least 4 days a week. Any advice on what I could do better. Really want to get this weight off. Love the shakes, the taste and the ease, but need results. I know its going to be a little slow, but was hoping for at least one pound per week.
Now I’m up 2lbs. I’m literally about to cry. It seems like the harder I try the worse it gets. Please if you have any tips, they would be greatly appreciated. I’m also taking the burn and the renew. What else can I do?!!!!!
Don’t concentrate so much on what the scale says. If you are working out, muscle weighs more than fat. So pay attention to how your clothes fit on you and how you feel. I am sure you have burned some fat but gained muscle. Hang in there you are doing great! I haventhink added exercise yet but I average about 3lbs loss each week. I “graze” all day on fruits, especially watermelon, replace 2 meals a day with shakes and eat whatever I want for supper. Of course I don’eat a lot at supper because I mostly eat it because I need to. I no longer have much of an appetite. Give it more time you will notice a difference in your body.
I just started the plan its my fourth day i made separated purchases so i waited until I received all the items i started at 210 now I’m 205 in four days so I’m very excited
I started the program but haven’t followed it to a tee. I am down 6.2# since my start but I’m having problems with too many carbs and not enough protein. I know I can do this! I don’t want to lose too fast! Been there did that too many times! The weight roller coaster has been my life for 30+ years. I want to make sustainable changes in my lifestyle and eating habits that I won’t revert from when I get bored or feel deprived.
Hi I love the products and following the plane I go to the gym 4 days a week and I walk 8 hours a day at work. I have stopped drinking pop and eating bad snacks. I’m doing the two shakes and the ideal boost and the probiotics and drinking a gallon of water a day. I have not seen any results not understanding I have seen so many comments of people losing weight.
I started the Plan on July 22nd and I have lost 13.5 pounds!! i am amazed that i am never hungry. i have a cheat day once a week but only for one meal (usually dinner). I eat the same thing every day for breakfast, lunch and snacks. it’s just easier for me to do it like that. i have not yet stared an exercise program. i’m having knee surgery next week so hopefully after physical therapy, I will get going on exercising. This Plan is awesome. Wish I would’ve found it years ago. Thanks for being here.
I have have on the plan for 2 weeks now and lost a total of 7 1/2 pounds. I am super excited. I have been using 2 shakes a day. I eat two snacks and a sensible dinner. The hardest part of my day is after dinner. I get such cravings for sweets, cookies, cake, candy, anything. The ideal trim has helped with those cravings. I only just started walking due to medical restrictions on my activity. I can’t wait to get back to the gym. Can’t wait to see what the coming weeks bring!
Me and my mom got that ideal shakes about 2 weeks ago, we’ve lost nothing…
How closely have you been following the IdealPlan? Have you been exercising?
i thought exercising was only 20% and eating was 80% of weight loss?
You’re right nutrition makes up a huge portion of your results but exercise is still really important to help you build lean muscle, increase your metabolism, and improve your overall physical health. So even though exercise is only considered 20% of weight the weight loss equation, that’s still a big piece of the equation.
I’ve been doing 2 shakes plus 2 or 3 small meals during the day and I’m down 7 lbs. The weekend is really challenging to keep healthy options, when we are so busy with children’s activities and often end up stopping somewhere to grab a bite to eat!
Ben on this journey for almost a month, I know Iam signed up and this should be my 14 day check in. However I have stuck to this new life change. I’ve stuck to a daily work out (Sundays rest day) I’ve so excited to say I’ve lost 9.6 lbs and three over all inches!!!! I very ecitex to continue!!!!!
Down 5 lbs. super excited. Even went on a vacation and couldn’t eat the shakes but ate the bars and idealboost. Watching what I’m eating is so important. I don’t eat junk just to eat junk. Hardest thing is to not weigh myself every day. Best thing is my clothes are fitting better.
I have been on the idealshape for 2 weeks and have lost 3lbs. I exercise 5 days a week. I love the shakes, have 1 and sometimes 2 a day. I am having alot of trouble getting the snacks into my diet, also. I am happy with the 3lbs. that I have taken off so far.
It’s been a little over two weeks and I lost 5 pounds. Forcing Myself too cut out or down on the foods I love in combination with the shake has made a difference. Excersise is tough with two bad knees and back issues but I do what I can. So far so Good!
I am so glad I started using the IdealShape shakes! They have really helped curb my appetite and satisfy my sweet tooth! I’ve lost 5 pounds in a little less than 2 weeks and would like to lose 5 more. I will probably continue to use the shakes to help with maintenance too!
I haven’t been great at remembering the shakes, but the (I want to say Idealburn? ) capsules have given me some insane energy. I try to remember to have a shake when I leave the gym, but it’s not always possible. I’ve lost about 4 inches total and around 3 lbs. Ive also increased the amount I can lift in the gym by nearly 30 lbs in some areas!!!
Wow!! Thats AMAZING!! So glad to hear that you are seeing results!! 🙂
I lost 7 lbs the 1st week, but nothing the 2nd week. I can’t exercise yet due to hip replacement.i”m discouraged. I follow the plan, drink my water and the scale won’t budge. What”s going on?
Mary,
Stick with it and you will see results!
This sounds like me but with a bad knee. On the mend but any exercise I seem to do is merely just to regain movement so I have not had any weight loss. I do not plan to give up , though.
I have lost 6 pounds in two weeks. I love the dinner recipes and have made several of them. I’m still learning the portions and servings but I’ve decided to make index cards for the snacks and meals to help remind me what to eat and when. I bought the Idealshape protein in chocolate and vanilla. They both have a great taste and I find them to be satisfying.
The index cards are a great idea
Where are the recipes for dinner?
They’re in the IdealPlan! They’re towards the end of each section 🙂
Can u send me a link to the recipes?
Hi Jo, sorry you never got your copy of IdealPlan! I’ll send you another link.
So glad you are loving them! 🙂
Okay so the last two weeks have been ok. It has taken me til just now to get to two shakes a day. They have been a little hard on my stomach. I have lost 3lbs. I know I can do better. I need to increase activity a little more and I have not followed the meal plan but have eaten healthy minus a few nightly cheats.
Yvonne,
Keep up the good work! You’ve got this! 🙂
Well I am happy to say I just love your program. I am down 6lbs and an overall total of 22 inches. The best thing about this program is it taught me just how strong I really am. Getting the best nights sleep is a plus also!!❤️
2 weeks in and I started at 225, now I’m fluctuating between 215 and 217. I’m very proud of the results! I love the boost and the shakes!
I have been doing the shakes twice a day & then a healthy dinner about 2 weeks now. I have lost about 3 & 1/2 lbs. I feel great knowing I am putting healthy food in my body. I love the boost…..it gives me the energy I need to power through the rest of my day if I am feeling tired! Hoping I will keep this up permanently!
Hi, I’ve only lost 4 pounds in two weeks BUT I can tell I have lost inches in my tummy ! Excited? Definitely!!
I started the shakes on I Think March 22nd. I have lost 12 lbs. I am so excited. I am listening to the Visualize your Ideal Shape religiously. I swear it is working. I knew it was working one day when I wanted to go off my diet run to the grocery store and get a foot long sandwich and eat the whole thing. I stopped. Drank a shake and then went to the grocery store and I did drink 1 soda for a treat, but other than that I stayed on the diet. That is so not me. Anyway I have never lost more than 20 lbs on any diet over the years. Even diets being monitored supposedly by specialist. So I am think if I can make it over that marker, the rest will be attainable. Course I know with any dieter you wish it was quicker, but I am learning to focus on the fact I am changing and that is what counts.
Well my 14 days haven’t really been perfect. I experience a back injury during one of the weeks and was unable to work out for the week. So I’m still going now. Back feels much better. The only thing I do notice however is that I’ve become extremely bloated ever since I started the shakes. Not sure why I’m so bloated…but it makes it hard to see n if I have any tum my slim down progress.
Elizabeth I have felt the same way , so I have incorporated into my calorie intake lemon
fiber one bars….has really helped. Hopefully it will help you also….good luck!
I’ve lost 3 lbs. I’m drinking all my water. Biggest hurdle is trying to eat two shakes a day I can eat one easily a day. Any suggestions?
Have not lost in weight. Only difference is 1″ in hips. Tights won’t budge!! Too many calories, I think. I need my motabilisn to kick in….
Help! ? should I restart the 15 days?
Yay! I am down 8 lbs and my clothes are fitting better. I tend to not eat enough food, and I have a wicked sweet tooth. So instead I am doing one shake a day in the morning. Which is an improvement for me since I get up at 3:30 AM and normally don’t eat. I am having a really light lunch usually steamed vegetables and a protein, Something, that really mimics the plan. Then a really healthy dinner that mimics the plan normally lots of vegetables and baked fish or baked chicken. I also started walking one and a half to 3 miles every other day.
Lost 2 lbs since I started.
Hi… my weight isn’t changing… it’s going up.. I have lost 6ins total.YAY ME!!!!!.. I know that muscle weighs more than fat…but it plays with your head…I workout 3-4 days a week 30-40 mins a day.. 2 shakes a day… a bar in between.. I even use the boost in my water… I also have a yogurt some fruit.. Healthly dinner… I weigh my meat…measure out the veggies… menopause stinks…
Today is W3W6, I love the workouts, shakes and meal plans. You and your team are so motivational and encouraging. Thank you so much.
I lost 4 lbs the end of week 2, but this week I gained 2 lbs. I followed the meal plans and challenge the first 2 weeks but caught a cold and didn’t stick with the supper meal, ate late and just felt rotten. I did do the workouts though and I really like the way I feel as far as keeping up with workouts and upping my walk to 2 walks a day with my dog. My clothes fit better even if I have gained back 2 lbs.
I am feeling better now and can only see things getting better. Thank you again for the help to get moving and living life more fully! We can do this girls!!!! 🙂
I am off to a slow start with only a three-pound loss, but considering I had a birthday and a family funeral during that time, I am not discouraged. Family gatherings tend to involve eating. The easy preparation of a shake every morning made it possible to avoid skipping breakfast some days and going overboard on other days.
Well Lindsey, it’s like this, I haven’t lost any weight. I’m still at 225. It’s my fault because I’m an emotional eater. I don’t have your meal plan but I believe I have a pretty decent meal plan. I can’t seem to stay on track. I will be doing great and then I get upset about something and habitually will eat the first bad thing I see. This wouldn’t be bad except for the fact that I have 2 young adults in the house who tend to bring in junk food. No excuse, I know. My willpower is shot. But I will never give up. I’m still fighting the good fight. I’m still exercising also. I try to do them at least 3 times a week. I do have a knee replacement so I’m being very careful not to injure myself. My husband is continually asking me for cream cheese-filled banana bread, so I make it and I indulge. It’s very hard but I’m still trying. Well that about raps it up. I didn’t take pics of myself except from the neck up. I will try to get them done. Nor have I measured myself. These are things I will have to do. By the way, I am doing the meal replacement shakes, but no weight loss yet.
It doesn’t work any better than drinking a lot of water. Maybe a little more than that. It only lasts about an hour or two. I make the smoothies with everything in it. But it just doesn’t last.
I am day 8 & down 7 pounds. Very pleased with results. At the time I started, I also gave up diet soft drinks. I feel amazing. Looking forward to continued progress.
Ive lost nothing…. big fat nothing!!! Meanwhile I watch everyone else at work drop, drop ,drop
Ugh, that’s so frustrating! Let’s see if we can’t diagnose the problem. What are your goals? How much weight are you trying to lose? How closely are you following IdealPlan? What is your exercise routine?
Hi Lindsey😊It’s Linda here 😊I haven’t started your program yet ,as I was waiting til I order some more of your product 😊Wanted to order the 30 day plan first before I start 😊😊
So I am down about 4lbs in two weeks….mostly fluid I am sure….trying. to eat 5 times a day is hard….and I find myself getting hungry at night or at least it feels that way. …..still having a hard time getting all my water and still have not given up diet sodas….too many changes at once feels like like a set up for failure….it has been hard but I push through
I try to stay at about 1200 calories a day and drink Idealshape shakes for breakfast and lunch. So far I’ve lost almost 3 lbs. I bought a Ninja blender and add a cup of ice to the cup of water to make a great smoothie. On days when I go to the pool for water aerobics I get a bit more hungry at lunch so add 1/2 a frozen banana and 1/2 cup of frozen berries to make a bit heartier smoothie.
I am on week 2 and lost 4 lbs so far.
I have been following have 2 meal shake and eating healthy snacks and sensible meal. My biggest hurdle has been drinking water. At work I used to drink diet soda most of the day. That has been a big change for me. Scale is not moving but everything takes time and commitment I have been tracking with my fit bit and using losing it app. I went out and bought a ball and I have weights and I do Zumba once a week If I can. I will just keep plugging along.
IT HAS BEEN 2 wks since I have started, I have been following the food plan with the two shakes a day. I have lost 14lbs so far and feel great. The results have been amazing.
I have lost 5lbs total so far. Had a few not so good days but each day is a new beginning.
I’m on my 7th day of sticking to the ideal plan for the 140-190 lbs. category. I started at 187.4 lbs. and weighed in 2 days ago at 180.4 lbs. I weighed myself again today and I’m still at the same weight. Maybe I’ve hit a plateau? I have not incorporated exercise yet but plan to. I’m happy with the results so far and hope that it continues.
I have to date lost 15 pounds. I have a heart condition that requires me to eat a Mediterranean diet, so that’s been my meal plan.
I have been on the shakes for 2 weeks. I have not weight myself yet. I know that my clothes are fitting better if I had to venture a guess it would be 5 lbs. I do feel a lot better and the shakes are great… no to crazy about the bars. I will weigh myself after a month
It has been 11 day since I started drink idealshakes and eating idealbars. So far it’s going great! I’ve lost 10 pounds and I feel wonderful! I’m not as tired though the day and I am sleeping better at night. The best part is I have not been hungry! The first thee day were a little difficult but having the Idealbars really helped me though.
That’s awesome!!
I’m on day 11 and I’m down 7 pounds. I’ve been walking everyday to get at least 10,000 steps. My family loves the dinner menu and the shakes taste great and I haven’t been hungry at all. Only complaint is feeling crampy and bloated.
Monica- So happy you are seeing AMAZING results! Keep up the great work! 🙂
Down 2.5 lbs
Way to go!
I haven’t lost any weight …..
Stick with it and don’t get discouraged!! You will see results soon!!
I haven’t lost anything either. I feel heavy, bloated and cramps.
I’m actually at day 12. I’ve only lost 1 lb and I also feel bloated and cramping.
.I haven’t weighed myself yet but I can definitely tell they’re helping. I’ve been doing the shakes for breakfast and lunch and then a light dinner. What is your opinion on either a cheat day or cheat meal? I walk everyday as well but I like to give myself one day a week to enjoy something–whether it’s a meal or dessert.
I too feel bloated and haven’t lost any weight. Why is this?
Amy,
Stick with it and make sure to follow the meal plan exactly! You can do it!
I lost one pound might be a little more I forgot to weigh before I started, but I lost inches and I can see the difference, I went a little off this weekend but I did watch what I ate I was at a birthday party for my grandaughter, but today I had lunch and a shake with a salad and back on track
That’s fantastic!
I have lost 3 pounds! I know that’s not very fast but I’m happy. I love love having that shake for my lunch at school.
Nancy,
That’s awesome! Congrats!
I lost about 1 pound, but I haven’t had a lot of cravings. I haven’t started exercising, but I feel like I’m loosing inches. Thank you for checking up on me, I wasn’t expecting this. Knowing you will be checking on me will help me to watch what I eat. Thank you again.
You’re welcome!! Great job!
I don’t know what day I am on lol.
I was not tracking anything-just going through the motions of starting a new behavior pattern. I forgot some ingredients at home here and there, so didn’t follow to a “t”, but I am happy that the shakes allow me to focus on what I WAS doing which in turn helps me break some behavior patterns. I’ve lost maybe 3 pounds. I joined a gym and start w/ personal trainer January 4th. Kind of a slow start but I am being practical. I think this plan is great and shakes are tasty too.
It’s kind of like training wheels for beginning a new healthy lifestyle- gives me confidence and I am assured if I teeter, I have support to not fall.
I also got my hair done, bought some nice moisterizer and two pairs of jeans – just helps focus a bit on myself – remind myself that I like feeling and looking good, and that my needs are just as portent as everyone else in my family.
I’m feeling good about my choices. I’m so glad I found you.
I forgot to add that the shakes / snack plans enforce WILLPOWER BIG TIME!
Great job! Keep up the healthy lifestyle! Way to go! 🙂
I’m done 5 pounds ????
Yay!
Actually started working on losing weight Oct. 4, 2015. Started with an Atkins program based plan because it worked previously but I didn’t view it as a lifestyle change and regained my weight. Then I was introduced to protein shakes but didn’t like the taste from the GNC shakes. Was introduced to Isagenix and while their shakes were ok, you need to be “in” their program to get good pricing and I did not want to get involved with all that. Been on the Idealshape shakes now for the last few weeks because they taste good and are reasonably priced and available to purchase. Total weight lost overall since Oct. is 19 lbs. drinking 2 shakes a day and then eating a low carb meal with low carb snacks when needed.
That’s great Terry!! You’re doing awesome!
This is great news! Thanks for sharing as I struggled between choosing Isagenix or theses. Glad to know you’ve seen success with this one.
I haven’t started yet. I will be starting next week because I am at an Art Show and have no way of doing my shakes. I am anxious to start.
Great Deborah! I am really excited for you to get started 🙂
I loved the exercise! I still cant to a push-up or berpies I’m not strong enough. I did not loose any pounds, but I did loose 1 in’ of my waist and OMG I can see it when I put my jeans on. Question do I do the 15 day challenge again this week or do you have another different challenge? My hardest part was BLT since cooking is my job and I have to taste the food.
Thank you so much for the encouragement .XOXO Norma
If you’re following the 15 day challenge you can sign up and do it again starting Nov 16th! Go to idealfit.com/insider-challenge
Down 3lbs. Starting Exercise this week, along with the shakes. 😉
Great job!
So excited to be down almost 5 lbs. I’m breastfeeding so it’s a fine line of losing weight without affecting my ability to breastfeed. But so far, so good!
Anyone have suggestions for making the vanilla taste better?
Great!! I never lose weight while nursing so I’m so excited for you!!
Go to CostCo Get the Frozen 3 Berry Fruit. Comes in a big bag. Dump 4 to 6 oz into your smoothy and blend it all together. It’s a home run for taste.
Blueberries, Raspberries, Blackberries
If you like peanut butter try adding two tablespoons of PB2 regular or chocolate flavor to your shake. It mixes well with ice and water does not require blender. PB2 can be found in your local grocery peanut butter isle. I’ve added it to the Chocolate and Pumpkin Spice Idealshakes.
It’s been 10 days, I feel less tired during the day an not as hungry. But when I’m hungry I have a little snack of protein or a ideal bar. I have a shake for breakfast an lunch than a healthy dinner
That’s great!
It’s only been a week. I did ok but my stomach had a hard time processing the changes and I was bloated and had cramps. I tried my best to stay with it. The hardest part was the weekend…I didnt do as well as I’d like. But I’m back to it and adding in exercise starting today…I’ve lost 2 lbs…
Weekends are so tough!! It will get easier. And your system will get used to the fiber too so keep going!
I’ve lost 2 pounds since I started. I have a shake for breakfast. And drink ideal boost during the day. I know I could have lost a little more…but haven’t given up my soda yet. And I haven’t been following the plan.
For not following the plan that is fantastic!!
After a week on the plan I’ve lost 8.8 pounds. I’m thrilled with how easy this plan is to use
WOW! Amazing!
I have had to stop temporarily due to diastis recti, I’m only 5 months out from having my son and it was not healing, it’s almost done and as soon as it does I’m going to start over and go hardcore on it 🙂 I really really enjoy this program!! Can’t wait to start again!
We will see you soon then!
having major issues with being able to process the shakes, I can only do one a day. I have taken a healthier route to meal selection for the other 2 meals. May not be for me. 🙁
You can just do one shake a day if that’s better for you. 🙂
I’ve lost 3 lbs !!
Great job!
Hi Lindsey,
I’ve lost 2.4lbs and I feel great. The shakes, bars, and the IdealBoost drink packets taste great. I never thought that I would enjoy being on a diet. You checking on all your members, let’s me know that I’m not alone and you’re on this journey with me. I can also increase my exercise regimen. Thanks Lindsey
So glad you love it!
I have actually gained a few pounds……but I am not discouraged.
Keep going! It takes some people a little time for their bodies to get used to what they’re doing… 🙂
I’ve lost 7 lbs and never feel hungry. I need to remind myself to eat! 2 shake and a healthy meal a day. This has to be the easiest “diet” I’ve ever been on. Of course it’s only been 2 weeks so I’m excited to see if it continues.
Amazing Gina! YAY!
The first 3 days were tough but going good so far…the ideal bars really helped! I haven’t weighed myself yet but feel better already!
You’re tough!! Remember it’s not always about the scale, feeling better is a GREAT step forward!!
OK been trying hard but haven’t done very well. Consistency is a problem. Another problem is when my husband is away on business I tend to eat crap. Trying though. Have physical issues and can’t exercise also. 🙁
Cindy, continue to do your best!!! I believe in you!
I’m down 5 pounds in 2 weeks. I have had a few more cheat meals than I should, but a shake for breakfast and lunch is really helping keep my focus. The smoothie recipes are great and I can’t wait to try all of them. My favorite so far is Berry Avocado!
Lauren, you are on the right track! Keep up with your smoothies and be sure to try them all!! 🙂 5 lbs is awesome. Progress is progress, can’t wait to hear more!
Ive lost 2 lbs.
Awesome!!!!
Down 5.4 lbs……
Wow!! You rock!
feeling better already! is it alright to use any of the smoothie recipes (even the dessert choices) or stick with the low cal choices?
You can use any of the smoothies, unless it’s specified! Give them all a try 🙂
Hi, just wanted to say I lost 4 pounds. I might have to return items due to not feeling good. My tummy has hurt so much since I started this have a hard time with my bowls, tried prune juice helped some and alot of heartburn, eating alot of tums! IDK….going threw memopause BAD WORK IN A NURSING HOME ALOT OF EXERCISE THERE AND STRESS. Not much time to eat or drink. If I donot feel better soon I will return. Thanks for checking on me. Great support. Theresa
Theresa, there is 5g of fiber per serving in the shakes and that could be a change for your body. I would recommend trying to push through the first couple weeks, it will take a little time for your system to adjust to the diet change! Make sure to drink at least 8oz of water after each shake! Water throughout the day is also extremely important! Keep going strong!
I finished the 12 week challenge 7 weeks ago but I didn’t follow any nutrition plan and I lost about 2 1/2 pounds. I immediately started the 12 week challenge again and I bought ideal shake, ideal boost and ideal bars 2 weeks ago and with them and the exercise I’m already down another 2 1/2 pounds. So excited to be down 5 pounds and can’t wait to see what I’ll be come the end of this 12 week challenge. I love the quick but some times painful exercises and I can tell I’m so much stronger than when I started 19 weeks ago. IdealShape has made me love exercising ever morning when I use to hate it and it had made me love my body again. Thank you IdealShape!
Wow!! Thanks for sharing 🙂 I am so excited and proud of your progress. I love how proactive you were in purchasing the products to best utilize the program!! You are awesome 🙂
14 days, I can’t believe I actually stuck with this program, the first week I didn’t lose anything, then I realize I was getting enough calories, so I joined myfitnesspal that tracks what I eat ,I have been faithly tracking and eating by the program. I love the shakes very filling, I add Greek yogurt and almond milk and ice, the ideal bars are also good, I just ordered the holiday special, I’m down to my last day for shake. What should I do until the shipment arrive ?
The second week I have lost 3 pounds,
The problem I have is dinner time, it’s just me and my husband, I usually have 3-4 oz meat either chicken or ground beef
with a side dish and vegs,
I go to the gym 3 -4 days weeks, cardio one day and weights the next day.
I apologize for the delay. I hope you have received your shipment by now! If not, I know it will be there soon! Stick with eating every few hours and try to use myfitnesspal to help you track your the food you are eating in place of the shake. If you use the smoothie recipes and just eat a lean meat for a protein source, you will be pretty close in macros while you wait! Keep going strong and CRUSH your goals! Can’t wait to hear more 🙂
I have stuck to 6 meals a day now despite running my busy household of 3 kids under 5 and my husband’s crazy pastor schedule. That aND I’ve gone 3 pant sizes!
More food is better….right?! 3 sizes down? GO SARAH!!!
I am down 7.5 lbs! Thank you for making a program that’s easy to follow and I can still feel good about eating normal foods. I am a mother of three young children so not having to count calories is extremely helpful when I feel like all I can concentrate on is fulfilling their needs! Thanks for helping me take care of me!
Thank you for committing to this program! I know you will continue to crush your goals 🙂 I know what it’s like being a mom of 3 and having to find balance. You are awesome! Keep going!
I don’t have the mindset of all or nothing. I do what I can. Certain foods I know I gain, even though I do not eat a lot of it. The shakes bars and supplements help. I do not think I could do it without them. I have lost 20 lbs. and very pleased. I know that if I do not do good one day the next can be better and I have little goals I try to reach.
20 pounds!! That is awesome!! Thank you so much for sharing 🙂 Great plan… little goals will add up to big accomplishments!
Down 8 lbs in 2 weeks and feeling so much better.
That’s amazing!! Keep going, that feeling won’t go away 😉
So I think I lost a pound. I was challenged last night by my husband’s club banquet buffet and didn’t do well. But I’m back on track today.
That’s okay! I am proud of you for being aware of it and regaining control right away!!!
I lost two pounds. I had a busy weekend so I didn’t do the shakes but I didn’t eat much either. I’m picking them up again tomorrow. I’m sleeping better & I have more stamina.
2 lbs, thats awesome! Its good to hear your stamina and ability to sleep have improved also! I’ll love to see you get back on track after your busy weekend!
I have lost 8 pounds and feel very good about it hopefully it’ll keep going down I like the taste of the shakes and will be ordering as soon as I can I do aqua strength three times a week thinking of adding in one more day to help me out
Thats great progress! It helps when you enjoy the taste of the shakes, so i’m glad you like them! Keep staying on track and adding one more day of aqua strength would be a great idea!
Well i have lost 6 lbs since i purchased the shake which i did kinda let my self cheat on easter .. and i drink one shake a day and use my fitness pal to count calories
Down 6 pounds… Using shakes with NutriSystems and it is amazing how my cravings are GONE!! These shakes are making my diet possible!! Haven’t even been able to exercise much with a few sick babies!! Looking forward to making this work long term! Thanks for the amazing shakes!!
Hope your babies get feeling better! And congrats on your weight loss so far, Keep it up!
I lost four pounds. I love the workouts. My biggest hurdle is my lack of flexibility (which is why I love the workouts). The shakes are great because they are so satisfying that I haven’t craved sweets.
I do have a question about adding greens to them. Can you use a good liquid greens product instead of the real greens? Would this count for the carb? Do you need to reduce the almond milk ?
That is awesome to hear! As you continue to workout your flexibility should increase!
As for adding greens to the shakes, as long as the liquid greens are purely the greens and don’t have added ingredients then yes that would be fine! And no need to reduce the almond milk if the liquid greens you are using don’t have additional carbs.
The first 14 days were not successful. Actually the first week I did two shakes and messed up for dinner (sometimes not having dinner at all). Week two I went off the plan completely. Had a shake in the am and that was it. I don’t know why getting this plan right is such a struggle for me.
Thats okay that you struggled sticking to the plan in the beginning. You can take the opportunity now to make strong goals to stick to the program. You can do it Tonya!!
Have only lost a couple pounds but have worked out everyday and have lost a couple inches too. Can feel myself firming up. Mostly had shakes for breakfast. Going to try to have more for lunch too.
Thats great Dorothy! Keep up the hard work 🙂
I started the program on November 9, 2015 and today was my first way in and I have lost 5 pounds so far. Love the shakes and the bars they are very tasty. Just trying to stay focused. Not doing much exercising besides walking at work. Will be starting yoga the first of December.
Congrats on your progress so far! Yoga will be a great way to add more physical activity into your routine!
I am sad to say I have to send back what I bought I really loved the taste and how it kept me full after doing it for a week but with my IBS and Celiacs disease I can no longer drink it . Unfortunately another shake my body can’t tolerate.
I’m so sorry to hear that! I hope you can find something that works with your body. Don’t get frustrated and continue to search and change things up to find ways to incorporate a healthy lifestyle 🙂
I have lost 9 lbs. in two weeks. I have followed the plan until the weekend where I slipped. Back on it Monday. I only do shakes for breakfast and lunch. Maybe an apple when the hunger gets tough. Hard to exercise due to my lifestyle. I’m trying to figure that one out. Moving on!
Awesome! Congrats on your progress so far! Glad to hear you are getting back on track after you slipped over the weekend, way to hold yourself accountable! 🙂
Admittedly, after many frustrating months/years of trying various options, I recently discovered Idealshape. It’s been about 2 weeks, I thoroughly enjoy the shakes and bars, and program overall. The biggest decision I made, however, is too NOT get on a scale before, during or after. The scale messes with my psyche and I truly want to put less emphasis on ‘losing weight’ (in numbers) and just live my life and one day soon, hopefully, realize my clothes fit better and I like more what I see in the mirror. Idealshape fits into that plan, and I am optimistic that it will be a win!
Thanks for sharing your story Kellie! I love that you are focussed on how you feel and aren’t focussing so hard on what the scale says. I believe IdealShape will help you reach the point where you realize your clothes are fitting better and your happy with what you see in the mirror!
So far I have lost 7 pounds
WOW! Go Jenn!!
The first two weeks went well. I haven’t followed the plan exactly but have tried to adopt its philosophy of smaller, more frequent meals and emphasis on nutrition in what I do eat. Most days I have one shake, usually at lunch time (breakfast is usually eggs, or Greek yogurt with fruit). I often have a bar or some other light snack in the afternoon and then a moderate dinner. Have exercised about 5 times a week. I’ve overeaten at a couple of meals since I started, but each time was able to get back on track. Recording my eating and exercise has helped a lot with that. I’m down 5-6 lbs and feel a difference in clothes. Big challenge ahead: about a week packed with different family visits and lots of temptations!
It’s great that you are recording everything. You are holding yourself accountable! Keep your head up and remember why you started 🙂 And a big congratulations on your progress thus far, you’re doing awesome!!!
I have not lost any weight I exercise everyday and I walk about ten miles a day and I have been on a diet of 1400 calories a day .. not sure what to do
Holly, you may not be eating enough throughout the day! Are you using any idealshape products?
‘Ive been using the shakes for 7 days. Lost 4 pounds but I can seem to snack/eat as much as the plan suggests and dinner is sometimes an option. I usually do not like to eat after 7 and sometimes I don’t get home till after that. Im still pretty tired although I’ve had a cold for about 10 days and working out it not so great.
4 pounds in one week, that is HUGE!! You are incredible! Thanks for sharing. Make sure to get the rest you need to get your health back to 100%
Down 3.2 in 4 weeks but have also lost inches. Starting with only one shake a day and have been doing a exercise and weight challenge at my local YMCA. Think I may try two shakes a day in the coming weeks with the holidays.
Lillian that is great!!! Keep going 🙂 You’re doing awesome!
After just 14 day i have lost 2.4lbs. Exciting yes, but even more exciting is the fact that I can stick to this plan easily. I love the shakes and the bars, in addition i was able to make some really good decissions last week. my daughter and I went out to eat twice with the grand babies. The first place was Mcdonalds. Instead of the big mac meal I choose the grilled chicken salad. Then she stopped at Starbucks ( my favorite place ) and I skipped it. The 2nd time we went to Pizza Hut. I passed on the pizza and bread sticks and had the salad bar but did not have any of the pasta. Then another trip to Starbucks – did not partake again. If you knew me you would know what a huge and difficult accomplishment this all was. I am feeling very positive that I have found my plan to stick with for life Thank You
I love to hear that you can easily stick to the plan! You set your mind to it and do it!!! Wow!! I know how hard it is to do that when others around you are making the food look SO good. I am proud of you 🙂 You are awesome!! Thanks for sharing!
I’ve lost 6lb, which is great! I’m cautious though – I’m no stranger to dieting and I always lose a bunch right away. It’s the next few weeks that got me worried 🙂
Still, it’s great to see anyway!
Congratulations! I know that you can do this! Stay positive and keep the consistency 🙂 You go girl
lose 6 lbs
WOW! Great job Lew!
I have been on IdealShape’s for two weeks and have lost 6 pounds. My biggest hurdle is dinner.
Thats amazing Samantha! Thanks for sharing! Try to keep your goals in mind when it comes to the hurdles at dinner time
I have lost 5 lbs so far. The Shakes taste great. I just started using the bars and they are good as well. I have noticed I am not as hungry as I normally am. I have started exercising 4-6 times a week for about an hour and have all the energy I need. The one problem I have is drinking enough water. I need to work on that. Otherwise thumbs up.
Thats great Al! Getting enough water can be a struggle, just try to spread it out through the day and always have a water bottle with you, you can do it! 🙂
I have been doing the shakes for a little over 3 weeks and this morning I was down 7.2 pounds and I just started incorporating the excersize challenge yesterday.
Wow! You’r awesome Abbie! Keep it up!
Down 6lbs. Love the shakes. Need to incorporate more exercise in my day. What is the YouTube link for exercise challenge?
Awesome Barb! the link for the exercises is https://www.youtube.com/user/IdealShape just go to videos and you can find them all there 🙂
Hi Lindsey,
Lost 5lbs the first week, but none the 2nd week. I guess that’s ok, since I didn’t gain anything back. The shakes are great. My favorite is mixing some fresh strawberries in the vanilla with an egg yolk and some ice. They have made my life so much easier. Now I know what I am going to eat for breakfast and lunch everyday and don’t eat junk. I’m snacking as recommended too and the combination keeps me full enough that at dinner I eat a smaller portion. Some challenges are getting enough exercise. I work in a call center, so getting up and moving around during the day are limited, but I try to walk at night and have joined a gym. Other challenges are the weekends because my husband and I love to go out and eat. It’s difficult sometimes to choose that salad over comfort food, but I’ll keep trying.
You are doing awesome Stacey! Sounds like your following the program and its going well for you, so keep it up! I love that you joined a gym and are going get more active! Keep it up 🙂
Down 7#. Doing 12/7 challenge as well!! Any other meal plans available? Getting antsy these last few days:/
7 pounds, thats amazing Beth! Excited for you to join us in the next challenge as well!
Hi I have lost 7lbs so far I am also using a calorie counting app. the diabetic educator who is an RN, I just saw yesterday said that she gives her blessing and says that the shakes are a good balance. I have kicked my soda habit by switching to ideal boost.
Yay! All of this is so good to hear! Keep it up Molly 🙂
Down to 216. Have mostly worked on a lifestyle. For the past three years I have watched the 1200 calorie/day closely and it hasn’t worked. I try to eat regular with several meals a day under portion control and the shakes. Need to do a little more with the exercise, but I am starting to see some changes. I am down a couple pounds, so I like the results so far.
Thats great Pat! Keep sticking to the plan and increase your exercise, you’ll see even more results!! 🙂
Down 5 pounds and starting to have a little more energy
Thats Awesome! 🙂
I’m down 5 lbs. I feel better and have more energy. Thanks for checking on me.
Great!! Keep it up 🙂
I had started my weightloss 2 months ago by counting calories and walking more adding the shakes has helped me maintain my 13 lb weight loss from previously but i am continuing to lose inches and even an additional pound in the last week even if im not fplowing my diet as strictly as before.
Thats Great! Thanks for sharing Christi! And congrats on you weight loss so far! 🙂
Down 5.5 pounds
Awesome!!
I’ve been using the Ideal shakes 2 weeks now and I’ve lost Agee inches so far. I plan on ordering more of the shakes and snack bars and will continue until I see the results I’m looking for.
Awesome! Keep working hard and your results will come 🙂
I started in late August and I have losts 20 lbs so far for vigorius excerise, but I do walk alot. I seem to be stuck right now going backandforth 1lb down the 2 lbs up. I eat no rice, bread, or sugar. Every now and then I get a sweet tooth, my problem is cashews and grapes I eat alot of that could that could that be an issue. And I try to drink alot of water too.
Congrats on your 20 lbs down, thats amazing! Sometimes switching up something in your exercise routine can help you get over those plateaus!
The first few days were the hardest as this is very different eating plan that I have done. I have officially been doing IdealShape for 8 days now and have lost 5.4 lbs. I am feeling so much better mentally and physically. I have more energy and am feeling less sluggish. This plan seems to be working great for me. Biggest challenge will be the holidays but I am committed to staying on track.
Wow thats so great! The holidays can be a challenge, but i know you can do it! 🙂 (Don’t be afraid to treat yourself during the holidays though, I don’t want you missing out on all the fun! Just keep it in moderation)
It’s been two weeks and I’ve lost exactly 10 pounds. I always scoffed at shake plans but this has worked great for me. I’m at 250 now so I still have a long way to go. I’m hoping to lose a total of 30-25 lbs by Christmas.
Thats awesome Dannie!
Always high on Monday — at 138
Hoping to be at 134 at next 14 day check in
I need to get past my 136 plateau, which I get down to every Friday.
Keep Following the program, push yourself during your workouts and you will get there Suzy! 🙂
Down 4 pounds in two weeks, I need to start exercising and plan my meals/snacks ahead of time. Love the vanilla and chocolate shakes. The fiber in the bars are way too rough on the stomach for me.
Wow thats great! Meal prepping is super helpful!
It’s been 2 weeks now and I’m down 3 lbs. I didn’t lose anything the second week. I try to go walking but it’s hard becauase i work in the mornings and then come home to 3 kids every night. I drink a shake every morning but it never seems to keep me full for long. It’s hard to stick to the diet because i feel like i’m always hungry and it dosen’t curb my cravings at all. On the plus side though, the shakes taste amazing. I usually add milk or some pb2 and maybe a banana. I Just wish they were more filling.
Stay strong through the cravings! Be sure to drink a full 8 ounces of water after each meal replacement shake you drink! That will activate the slendesta to help keep you full 🙂 I’m so glad you enjoy them!! Keep consistent with the program, I know you will be successful!!
Down 7 lbs in two weeks. Using my tracker to make sure my calories are under my burn every day and trying to get some exercise most days. Feeling pretty good about the results so far!
Keep it up Lisa!! That is inspiring!! 🙂 Thanks so much for sharing!
Down 8 pounds. So far, I am only doing one shake a day. I’m gonna have to look into all the other products.
That is great Jen!!! I can’t wait to hear more about your progress as you continue! Keep me posted 🙂 Definitely take a look at all of the products! Right now we have extended our CyberMonday sale until Wednesday, December 2nd. Check it out at shop.idealshape.com
Only down 2 pounds but I feel like maybe I’ve lost some inches. I’m experiencing very bad cramping and bloating though and still can’t fight my bad cravings! Suggestions?
2 pounds is progress!! That’s awesome 🙂 Be sure to be drinking at least 8 ounces of water after each shake and 16 ounces after each bar you have! That will help suppress your appetite for the 3 hours! Water, water, water… that will help your body filter itself!! Consistency is key. Stay strong through this time, it will pass!
My biggest sucess has been following the 12week challenge to a T and actually enjoying it! This from someone who hates exercising! My biggest challeng is to eat only 5 meals a day. I need 6! Can’t seem to give up my night snack. I have lost so far 1.9 lb. I have about 14 lb more to go.
I love to hear that Telma! You are on your way! 🙂 Keep going strong and drink up your water!!
7 lbs. I gained 2 lbs day before Thanksgiving and was scared to weigh myself after Thanksgiving. I didn’t endulge but I sampled everything but mashed potatoes. I have been walking and biking and chasing my 2.5 Year old grandson. I was extremely happy to take a deep breathe hop on scale. I thought I was seeing wrong lol.
That’s awesome! I’m really excited for you! 🙂 Keep going strong with your goals Linda!
It’s been 2 weeks since I’ve started on the shakes. I went from 260 lbs to 244 lbs — last weigh in was this past Tuesday. So far, I only drink the shakes for breakfast but now I’m going to go up to drinking twice a day (breakfast and dinner). Hopefully, the weight will continue to drop.
WOW! That is incredible! I can’t wait to see how replacing two meals per day, helps you achieve your goals!! Keep me posted 🙂 You are awesome!
Just starting…excited!????????????
AWESOME HEATHER!! Let’s do this!
I feel like I’ve been eating less but have gained 6 lbs!! I started exercising too but I’m feeling very discouraged.
Are you following the IdealPlan Tiana?
I am down 3 pounds but feel bloated and have been extremely gassy!
That’s great that you have lost 3 pounds! Everything should even out with your bloating and gassiness. Check back with me in 2 more weeks!!
I started in August with the 12 week challenge and was doing very well. The beginning of September we experienced major fires in our town and needless to say I was majorly derailed on the challenge. I picked up the 15 day challenge in October and just now completing my second 15 day challenge. So far I have lost 15.5 lbs and feeling so much better. Thank you Lindsey for having such a wonderful program available for us!
Wow Rae! Thank you so much for sharing! You are a prime example of why I do what I do! Thank you again. Best of luck!!!!
I really like the program. I have lost 2 pounds. My only problem is that the shakes give me terrible gas. My question is, does the body ever get used to it so that I don’t have gas? If so, how long does that take? I want to push through this if the gas problem will correct itself. Other than that, I think it is a great program and I hope to be able to continue it because your program is very motivational. I also really like the CD that helps me fall asleep.
You are changing your nutrition and what you are putting into your body so your body should get used to it and it should go away! If you continue to have issues let me know 🙂 Congrats on the 2 lbs!
I just started with the shakes this week only on day 2 I used to use the herbal life products but it got way too expensive
Excited to hear about your progress! 🙂
I’m getting it done!! Proud of myself that even through the holiday I did well. Don’t get me wrong I splurged but not like I usually do! And I even worked out Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday!! I have not lost lbs but I didn’t expect too since I have gained muscle. But I’m okay with that!! I need to measure and start keeping track of inches not lbs. joined the gym and taking fitness classes, so much fun!!!
Thats great to hear! You should definitely track your inches as well, but i’m glad you are enjoying the challenge!
Hey Lindsey.
Just doing my first check in.
I’ve lost 10 lbs since I started with the Ideal Shakes. I feel great, have energy and my appetite is at a minimum. I do like the vanilla more than the Mocha because I can mix my 3 berry mix into it. So good! Thx for the beeps of encouragement.
Wow Dale thats great!! Keep it up! 🙂
I’ve lost 6 lbs in the first two weeks, that was with Thannksgiving meals included!
Awesome!!!
Lost 7 lbs and 5.5 inches. Hardest thing for me is water. But also on Thanksgiving weekend was following 5 meals. I did not over eat but just did not follow plan with food and water. I did go to gym on Black Friday and did double class. Exercise is tough area. I keep repeating the first 3 days in between my scheduled gym classes. Being of larger statue I was wondering if you vet thought of putting together exercise videos with alternate ways to do. I always feel I can’t keep up or do them like you ladies. But over all I did week for first 14 days and I am continuing. The next 14 will be little tougher due to holiday parties.
Modify the exercises if you need, and just do your best!! 🙂 Sounds like you are doing great already!!
I just started it Monday. I had been doing the Beachbody 21 day fix prior which really didn’t do much to help me loose weight. I think it was too many calories. I am diabetic so weight loss is harder for me. I started the shakes, changed my diet considerably and started my daily workouts again on Monday and have lost 4 pounds in 4 days. I have to finish reading about your diet. I have been drinking the shakes for lunch. I have a full breakfast and dinner with my snacks in between. I am noticing definition starting finally as well. I am really over weight and looking to loose 60 pounds.
I’m excited to see your progress as you commit to the program!
Since 11/23, I am down 2 pounds but have lost inches. I am doing the shakes and ideal bars and your recipes. We did have Thanksgiving in the middle and we actually took most of the day off (I could really tell). I am getting about 1500-1600 calories per day and wonder if I should lower that at all. I do the exercises but not every day due to my schedule. I also try to ride my bike 3-4 times a week for 9-11 miles (usually 40-50 minutes).
Sounds like your doing great! Just try to follow the ideal plan for your weight to a T to ensure your best results!
I started the meal replacement shakes November 19th. I have had some cheat days with Thanksgiving and a few deserts here and there. Since ordering my first shakes, I have placed a second order for more shakes and some Ideal Bars that have helped with the sweets cravings. I am down about 5 lbs in two weeks.
Wow thats great Brandi!! Keep it up! Glad to hear its working for you and you have ordered more 🙂
week three – doing one meal replacement a day and healthy meals. I lost 3 pounds on the 15 day challenge and went right into the 12 week and now down another 4 pounds. feeling stronger and have more energy.
Thats great Karen! 🙂
Following the diet plan for this program was a big struggle/change for me because I had to seriously INCREASE my calories and protein. I stuck with it as best I could. Some days, I just didn’t have enough time for all that eating. Also, I have a huge fear of carbs and fat, so, to be totally truthful, I usually cut those ingredients out of the meal plans. Nonetheless, I felt like my metabolism and body were changing on the program, and I enjoyed the workouts. However, I only lost one pound :(. One is better than none, but I was hoping for something big. So I have decided to sign up for a second round and really commit to the exact diet plan and see what goes down
This next round be sure to follow the program exactly! The program is designed to give you the amount of macros that will be best for weight loss 🙂
Down 5.2!
Awesome!!
I’m on day 5. Yesterday I weighted and had lost 4 lbs. I’m trying to follow the plan the best I can. I’m not sure of my calorie intake. My tummy is still a little bit a mess. I’m not gonna lie I still have felt hungry at times. I also had a dull headache all week. I know it will all get better. Once I reach my goal weight how do I maintain? My goal was to lose 15 lbs.
Be sure to drink plenty of water with your shakes so get the full effect! Also once you reach your goal you need to focus on nutrition and exercising still to maintain!
I’m down about 3 lbs. Not sure how many inches but my clothes feel better. Best workouts I’ve found
Thats Great!!! congrats on the 3 lbs!!
Today is my 11th day! And when I weighed myself 4 days ago I had already lost 6lbs! It made me so excited to see that I’m not just stick in the same place, because that’s how all my other diet plans have made me feel! I have had a couple days (thanksgiving being one of them) where I ate more than I should’ve, but over all have eaten very healthy! And following the shake and ideal bar plan during days is so easy and I don’t even get hungry! Occasionally I will eat a salad with my shake for lunch but other than that I’ve been doing great! 🙂 excited to watch more lbs fall off before my wedding on January 3rd!!
Wow thats so great!! And congrats on your wedding!! Keep to the plan and you’ll see even more results before then 🙂
Doing my best to follow the plan, though my schedule changes pretty frequently is going ok. Love the shakes and bars, they keep things simple. Exercising is my biggest struggle I still don’t have a lot of energy but I’m trying to make some time to be exercise. I weighed myself today and I lost 5lbs! So I’m very excited about that.
Thats awesome Janelle!! 🙂
I started the Monday before Thanksgiving, probably not the best idea. Got off track for the Thanksgiving holiday and weekend then back at it on Monday, 11/30. This week I’ve stuck to the plan. I’m down 3 pounds, which I’m excited about. I already feel like I have more energy and overall have a better feeling about myself. The biggest hurdle for me has been overcoming my sugar/carb addiction. I purchased some of the Ideal bars to help curb the sugar and carb cravings that come in the afternoon. Another hurdle is not eating after supper. I’m usually a snack-until-bed person. I count my biggest success as seeing results already. I CAN and WILL lose weight and feel better!
Yeah the Ideal Bars are great to help you curb hunger! Sounds like you are back on track after the holidays, so great job Melissa!! 🙂
I only lost 1 pound. However, I can not blame the program for that at all. All I have done is replaced breakfast with a shake. I did start up exercising again but only got one day in the first week and 3 days in the second week. I haven’t followed the rest of the plan. But I have made that commitment and started following it more diligently today. My goal is to get back to consistently exercising 4 days a week.
You can do it Jill!! Make sure to follow the plan and you’ll see the results you want to see 🙂 Thats a good start, holding yourself accountable though and realizing you need to do better, great job! 🙂
Down 4pounds biggest challenge remembering to eat 5 meals working 3rd is challenging, trying something different the last few days by having my second shake (lunch) as dinner right before work.
Down 4 lbs, thats great!!
I have only lost 2 pounds. I guess I am not doing something right!
It takes time! Just be sure to follow the plan and you should see results! 🙂 2 lbs is progress!
2 shakes a day was all I needed to reduce my total daily caloric intake, breakfast and afternoon snack. I work with all men, food all around and I was hungry all day. Now I’m not hungry so don’t need to snack all day. No diet effort needed. Walk 5K a day Use Myfitness Pal and MapMyWalk, together with Idealshape. I’m Down 10 lbs, I’m not on a diet, nobody knows, I’ve created a new lifestyle that I can live with.
That is great! I am so glad you found what works for you! Way to go 🙂 And keep me posted on your progress!
Anybody over 56 years on this program? I have started 10 days ago, and did not lose ANYTHING!!
This challenge reaches those of all ages! Consistency is key, with your nutrition and workouts! 🙂 Stay strong. I believe in you!
I am on day 10, I have lost 5 pounds. My biggest challenge is trying to find time to workout. I have only done 2 workouts this week, but I am aiming for 4 per week. I am feeling positive about the weight loss however, and will continue to try and improve.
That’s great that you have set that goal for yourself! Push yourself a little more each day. As you continue to make the time, it will become habit! I know you can do this!! Great job on your progress thus far! Keep going 🙂
I was away so I’m only on my first week, but I’ve lost 5 lbs with shakes, bars and dinner at night.
That’s great! Keep up the hard work!!
I started my journey last week. I ended up getting hurt on Wednesday and didn’t follow the plan the rest of the week. I started again this week and have only cheated once. I’m struggling with feeling hungry all the time but I know I’ll adjust. I have been working on the road this week too so my options have been limited. Today I was home and it has went much better. I am still trying different things to help myself. Like spreading my breakfast out. I found that I got super full eating it all at once so I spread it out. I drink a shake plain right away when I get up and then a couple hours later have the other items. Seems to work better for me to spread things out a bit more. I haven’t really noticed weight loss yet but like I said I haven’t stuck to it totally yet either. I have lost 9 pounds since November 8th though with this and a spinning class I took last month. I am anxious to get back into that class in January. I don’t have a ton of weight to lose but I’m determined to hit it hard after the holidays for sure. Still doing it now as well but I know I’m not going to be perfect. Regardless I know in the end no matter how long it takes I will teach my goal. I also want to mention how helpful and nice everyone is with this company! I reach out all the time through chat and everyone has been super helpful. The shakes also I must say are amazing. I have tried several in the past and couldn’t stand them. These are yummy!!!
I’m glad you have found something that works for you! Whatever you think will help you stay on plan! Try 1 full week of no cheats 🙂 I know you can do it! And just up it from there. You are doing awesome!!! 9 pounds in about a month? Way to go 🙂 The shakes are the best!! I completely agree. We do our best here at Idealshape to help you along your journey!
Thanks for participating and checking in with me!! Can’t wait to hear more!!!
I have lost 3 lbs and inches with the shakes and exercise. I’m wishing I had done measurements before
Keep track of everyone from now on!! You are rocking it 🙂 Keep working hard Tiara!
I haven’t been as consistent with shakes and exercise as I would like. Knowing you are checking in will help me stay more motivated. I will go weigh and measure now so I can hopefully see real results 14 days from now.
Start off small and work toward the next 2 week at 100%. I KNOW you can do this!!! I am here to help in any way that I can. Stay strong Sara! Consistency is key!
I’ve lost about 5 pounds, not exercising yet, health issues need to be taken care of first.
Tamara, that’s great!! Take your time getting into the exercises, nutrition is most important!! 🙂 I know you can do this!! Keep working hard!
Awesome! Down 6 lbs in 2 weeks & that’s with a holiday party & business trip mixed in. I didn’t bring the shakes along with but my portion sizes went down as well as making smarter choices. I stick to 5 smaller meal days & love it. Just started strength training on top of my 10k steps a day! Love the energy and thinking ideal burn would be a good fit to my plan
Eating 5 smaller meals a day is the BEST!! It feels like you are eating so much more. I love it!! That’s awesome Sherry! Down 6 lbs, I am SO proud of you! 🙂
Go for the IdealBurn for sure! It’s a great product that gives you a little extra push 😉
Let me know how you like it! Can’t wait to hear how you continue to progress!
It will be 2 weeks on Tuesday. I’ve been been drinking 2 shakes a day with a sensible dinner. Unfortunately I just bought a new scale today and haven’t lost any weight. I have hasimotos hypothyroidism which could be the problem. Disappointed!!! I’m going to up my exercise and make an appt with my endocrinologist.. Hopefully next week will be better!
Definitely make sure you have everything in check with your doctor! Are you eating 5 meals per day? Your 2 shakes, 2 mid meal snacks, and your dinner? If not, eating that way will definitely help increase your metabolism! Don’t get discouraged, everyone is different and consistency/time will show your progress! Stay strong and work hard. You are doing AWESOME!
I’m Weighing On Thursday, I’ll Let You Know. I’ve Followed The Diet, I’ve Been A Good Girl
GREAT! Can’t wait to hear 🙂
I am about a month in, and i have lost about 5lbs. Not only am i having at least one shake a day, but have stopped eating fast food, and junk food like chips, soda and sweets.
Wow! That takes will power and discipline!! You are AWESOME!!!! 🙂
Congratulations on your weight loss thus far! At least one shake per day is great! If you are to bump it up to 2 shakes a day, your weight loss will be greater! Maybe switch things up a bit and try 2 shakes a day for 2 weeks and see how things go! 😉
So far I’ve lost two pounds, and several inches!
Way to go!! You’re are rocking it 🙂 Keep going, don’t give up!!! I can’t wait to hear more about your progress, keep checking back!
11 days, 4 lbs. Biggest challenge? Drinking enough water. I have my water after my shakes…but taper off later in the day…but, I’m getting there. Now if I can ramp up my exercise a bit…
…thanks to the shakes, those holiday cookies are someone else’s challenge! And many thanks for the encouraging emails.
That’s awesome Leslie!! Thanks so much for sharing, you are doing great 🙂 Keep working hard and staying strong!!! Can’t wait to hear more progress!
I actually just finished week 5. I have lost 5 lbs. since I began which doesn’t seem like much but I can definitely feel the difference in my clothes. I have lost a couple of inches. It is very difficult for me to eat meals at certain times through the day. I am a dispatcher for the Sheriff’s Office and we work with only one dispatcher on duty at a time so when it is busy you don’t have time to eat. So trying to get the five eating times in throughout the day has been a challenge for me.
Luann, keep working hard! Do what you can with your meals! If you can eat about every 2 1/2 to 4 hours, that would be the best way to space out your meals! You have lost about a pound a week, that is AWESOME! I can’t wait to hear your progress as you continue 🙂
I have been having a shake to replace two meals and on a 1300 calorie diet for two weeks now and I have lost 4.4lbs.
That’s great Heather!
I didn’t join to lose weight because I’m already kind of low, even though I do want to lose a few pounds. I know muscle weighs more than fat ugh!! But I want to tone my legs and I’ve done the meal plan to a t and done all the exercises and then some!! I haven’t noticed much change in the shape of my legs. Definitely a change in the feel. Not sure what I need to do to visibly tone them.
Unfortunately we can’t spot reduce fat. This means we can’t say we want to lose fat in our love handles, for example, and work on THAT fat in particular. All we can control is that we DO lose fat by controlling our nutrition and workouts. WHERE you lose it first is genetic. Some people will lose off their hips and legs first, others from their tummies first. But you can lose it off your trouble spots as long as you keep going. You will lose that fat if you just keep on getting leaner. 🙂 Congrats on the progress you’ve seen thus far!! Now just keep on going! 🙂
I was not consistent with the exercise portion and honestly, I modified the diet plan, but did stick to it on days off from work (which were few). Still I lost 3.6 pounds and in 2 weeks, I can’t complain about that! Love the shakes!
Awesome Norma! I’m proud of you for your success thus far 🙂
It’s been 2 weeks and I’ve lost 5 pounds! But my stomach seems to be getting bigger. Is that from the protein in the shakes?
The fiber in the shake can sometimes cause temporary bloating that may make you feel like your stomach is a little bit bigger. Since you are losing weight, you’re on the right track though! So just keep going and your body should get used to it!
Hi Lindsey;
My Diet Has Been A Idealburn At 6am, Shake At 7am, And For Dinner I Have A Piece Of String Cheese-An Apple And A Rice Cake. I Finally Got Weighed At My Doctor Yesterday Thursday The 17th. When I Put My Jeans On They Were Loose Comfortable. When I Put On My Bra It Was Loose And Very Comfortable. Did I Loose Inches? I Lost A Total Of 4 Lbs. What Do You Think About Me. I’ve Been Really Faithful To The Diet.
Also Lindsey, I Have A IdealBar At 8am
Frankie, I am sure that you have lost inches! You can keep track of those from now on, I would recommend measuring yourself each weigh in! It’s another great way to see progress!!
You want to make sure you are eating a breakfast, mid morning snack, lunch, mid afternoon snack, and dinner! You don’t want to not give yourself enough 🙂 I love to hear about your success!! You’re great 🙂 Keep working hard!
Down 5.8 pounds, without exercise. Hardest is getting 10 glasses of water, been around 8.
Thats awesome Brooke! Just try to span your water out throughout the day and always have it with you, makes it easier to drink more 🙂
I really have only been following the plan a week and things seem to be going ok. No real results yet, but I am not really expecting much since I have had such difficulty with other plans and have health issues that contribute. I have noticed the hunger is better with the shakes. I am really struggling with the snacks for convenience and timing as well as finding easy alternatives to the grains in the plan (Doctor’s order to be grain free by the end of January).
I’m glad that the shakes are helping with hunger! Just keep sticking to the plan and you should see results, it just takes time 🙂
Got to trust the process!
It has been 1 week since I started. I am down 7.8 pounds. The biggest hurdle has been Sunday at my hubby’s birthday. Everyone had pizza and cake and I had my almonds and cheese for a snack, had a shake for breakfast. I then had a bar and nursed a boost the rest of the time I was there. When I got home I was very down thinking about what I couldn’t have at the party and had a little pity party and a cry for myself and then had a salad with chicken for dinner. Hopefully my efforts will pay off on the scale tomorrow. 🙂
Thats so great that you were able to resist the temptations at the party! I’m proud of you!!!
I have lost about 2 pounds and I’m super excited!! the exercises are easy and quick to stick to and not like all the other ones i’ve tried. The meal plan is great!! super simple and doesn’t require much prep, so i’m happy!! Excited to keep going 😀
Awesome! I’m so happy you are enjoying it! Keep going strong!!
I have lost 6 pounds!! It’s wonderful…. I love the chocolate shakes. I actually have a cold shake for breakfast and make it into hot chocolate for lunch. I’m doing work outs every morning (not as much as I’d like but I’m trying with the time that I have!). I haven’t noticed much change in measurements though which is weird because I can feel it in my clothes.
Wow! 6 lbs?! Thats great!! Keep it up Sarah!!!
Bumpy start so far. It is hard to make such drastic changes. I really prefer hot food too. However, I haven’t given up on trying.
Amber, don’t give up! If you can make anything hot, do it!!! It’s your taste preference. I KNOW that as you follow this plan, you will see results! Do the best you can!! I am here to help in anyway that I can 🙂
IdealShape is working for me, although at a measured pace. Being over 65, it seemed impossible I could ever drop pounds again, even while doing Jazzercise 4-5 times per week, but finally, I have dropped a few!! I’m sure the exercise is very important… it really does take following the plan AND exercise (for me)! Since I started 3 weeks ago, I’ve lost 6 pounds. Just plan on ‘keep on keeping on’ and hopefully the 2 pounds per week will become a norm until I reach my goal of losing 25 pounds.
That is great, June!! 2 pounds per week is AMAZING!!! Consistency is key. And your exercises are definitely helping! 🙂 I can’t wait to see how you continue to progress! That goal of 25 pounds is definitely realistic!!! You’re going to do it! Keep me posted!
Two weeks in, and 12.5 pounds down. I feel better than I have in a DECADE! I don’t eat crap anymore. I just don’t. It doesn’t even taste good. I am down almost two pant sizes. I have chhek bones and a collarbone again.
I *will* say, If you think that you can just use the product, and not do any work, you’re not going to see results. No product is going to do that for you. I realize that now. But with the shakes, bars, idealplan, and the support structure… Making good choices is the easiest its ever been for me. I’m not even worried about Christmas dinner at the moment. Because I don’t want to eat junk. Not when nourishing my body with good food has made me feel so wonderful, and feel leaner. And it’s NEVER been easier.
Wow Lindsay!! That’s awesome progress, 12.5 pounds down and 2 pant sizes! That’s what I love to hear!!!
You are absolutely right! As you put in the extra work, your results will happen faster and help promote better health. These products do help create healthy habits that last!!
Thank you so much for sharing! I can’t wait to hear from you at the next check in! Keep up the hard work!!
I have been on the program about three weeks and have lost about 8 lbs. I really love the shakes and I have been eating a lot less (even with the holidays). I struggle with eating all the food on the plan. I am finding that I don’t get hungry while drinking the shakes. The other struggle that I am having is social eating. I am feeling social pressures to eat that way I always have. Maybe after the holiday season that will get easier (due to all of the party expectations). My greatest success has been I have seen results even with the challenges.
Stay strong Jennifer! As you continue to be consistent with the plan, not social eating isn’t as hard! I know that you can do this!
I am proud of the progress that you have made thus far!! You will want to eat all of the foods on the plan. It may be hard, but it’s important for your body to get those foods! Do your best to pace yourself throughout the day!
i got my 14 day check in i little while ago but i Have not started my diet yet but i will be starting somewhere in the middle of January 2016 & i am really Excited
Great Emily! I look forward to hearing back from you with your progress!
I have noticed more energy and with the holidays I still stayed on track I do 30 min of cardio daily and love my work out but I have not lost any weight!?! I also got a new scale for Christmas that tracks body mass water weight the whole deal love love love it but don’t understand the no weight loss help me understand thanks
Laurie, are you using any of the IdealShape products? Or following any meal plan? Weight isn’t the number 1 thing, you could be losing inches and gaining lean muscle. You will want to also track your progress with body measurements 🙂
I received the shake then found out I am pregnant with baby number three. So, I will be waiting nine months to get started. Can’t wait!
Congratulations!! And that’s not a problem, they do have a shelf life of 2 years, when sealed 🙂
I am not starting until next week. However, I did start the shakes this week to ease into things. I have a shake in the AM a bar for a snack and then a shake for lunch. I eat a regular meal at night with the kids. I have not been hungry and I do notice more energy. Excited to start the full program next week.
Great!! Make sure to be eating 5 small meals per day. You will want to keep your metabolism burning all day! So a typical day for you should be breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, and dinner 🙂 It may sound like a lot, but the snacks don’t have to be anything crazy. You will want to be eating about every 3-4 hours.
I can’t wait for you to get started on the program! Keep me posted!
I am having a hard time fitting in any exercise. I started a new job in August and I leave so early in the morning and come home around dinner. I need to spend time with my kids and by the time they go to bed I am exhausted. Pretty discouraged. I doubt just having some shakes and eating better will help me lose weight without a workout plan to go with it.
Mary, exercise will definitely help promote weight loss, but without proper nutrition your results wouldn’t be the best. Consistency with nutrition is key! With how active you are throughout your day, you will definitely still see results with just following the IdealPlan, using the IdealShakes!! I would recommend that you give it a try. I know you will love the shakes and bars 🙂
I love the shakes, andI have lost 2 lbs in the 14 days. With the holidays behind me I am following the plan and workouts each day. Sometimes it feels like a lot of food, but I know if I stick with it I will loose weight. The weekdays are very easy, however the weekends I am tempted to look for the unhealthy snacks.
Congratulations on your progress!
Weekends are tempting, but you have to be strong! I know that you can do it! As you continue to be consistent, you will see more results!! I can’t wait to hear from you at the next check in!
I was drinking th shakes and watching more what i eat n dint pick as much (like usually did) over Christmas at my family gathering. I did lose 1-2 lbs. but then we went out of state to a gathering and i got off track. 🙁 and i cud tell a difference that i wasnt on track anymore and i gained that little back again. I started th shakes again plus th 12 week workout challenge today again and want to get back on track.
Mary Lynn, that is awesome that your body recognizes when you are off track. As you feed your body with the proper nutrition it needs consistently, you will continue to see change! I know that you can do this! I’m excited to follow your progress! Keep me updated 🙂
You rock!!
Today is January 4th and is my start day! Had a shake for breakfast and lunch, a hardboiled egg and 1 idealbar this afternoon, drank water and 1 idealboost, I will make a healthy dinner tonight and went to the gym this morning. My goal is 15 pounds.
Alright Mellissa, Day 1!!! You’re off to a great start!! Let’s do this 🙂
So it’s been 2 weeks since I started with the shakes. I have lost 5 lbs and my clothes are starting to fit better. I haven’t been so successful with my exercises because of my full life but I do them on the weekends.
That’s great!! Nutrition is key!! Congratulations on your success thus far 🙂 I can’t wait to see your progress as you continue!
So far since starting I am down 4 pounds!
Great Jessica!! Keep going strong!
I have lost about 7 lbs after using Ideal Shape for 14 days. I was surprised that I have stuck with it this long. Usually after a few days, I give up because I crave the junk food and soda. It’s also hard living in another country where the food is so good but not good for my diet. I am proud to say that that I’m still going strong and can’t wait to see more results!
You’re awesome Raeleen! I’m really proud of you for sticking with it!! 🙂 Keep going!
Lost 6.4 lbs this week!! Yeah….couple of days I was hungry but eating the vegetables on the approved list helped tremendously!!! Also down inches!
Starting second week tomorrow! Will be trying a different meal plan!
Thanks!
Definitely keep eating those approved veggies to help with that hunger. I am proud of you for staying on plan and working hard! You’re doing great!!! Congrats on those 6.4 pounds lost!
I have been on the shakes for a week now. I am down 1.5 lbs. I have been struggling with fitting in the workouts but I’m trying. Hopefully I can get the motivation I need soon to get that started. The biggest thing is that I feel so much better. I don’t feel tired all the time. I think I was in a constant sugar coma before I started this.
Brandi, that IS the biggest thing!! You should LOVE yourself and feel great!! Thanks for sharing that! You rock 🙂
Hi Lindsey! I love these shakes they taste soooo good. I’ve only been drinking them for 1 week and I’ve noticed that my sugar cravings are slowly starting to diminish. I started on Monday Jan 4th doing PIYO + drinking my shakes and I’ve lost 2 lbs and 2 inches around my waist! I’m starting on my 2 week of working out and drinking my shakes (I’m sooo excited to finally see results!) Thank you!
Alise, that’s great!! As you continue, those cravings will continually diminish! You are doing awesome!! Can’t wait to see how you do as you continue 🙂 Keep me posted!! Congrats on your progress thus far!!
Down 4.5 pounds. I love the mocha shakes! I am not hungry for several hours after I drink them.
They are YUM!! Congratulations on your success!! Keep going 😉
The shakes are yummy and they seem to fill me up so I don’t get hungry for a few hours afterward. I haven’t seen any weight loss. I had minor surgery so I haven’t been able to jump into working out like I’d like to. This week I should be able to increase exercise. I did break down and eat a cookie yesterday, but other than that I’ve been staying on plan. I really hope to see some results next week!
Take it day by day! Don’t worry so much about the scale! Do your best with the workouts, when you are recovered. Focus on your nutrition 🙂 I know it will start to fall off!! Can’t wait to hear from you at the next check in.
Down 7lbs since the start of the new year! The shakes have been awesome for providing some stable boundaries while still getting to mix it up enough with my 3rd meal and snacks. I’ve cut out alcohol which I think has been sooooo important and helpful in weight loss. I’m also on a pretty great gym regimen so I’m hoping to keep it up! I ordered a dress 2 sizes small for my sister’s wedding in April so I’m mega-motivated!
Abbey, that is incredible!!! Cutting out alcohol was a great decision. Alcohol slows down your metabolism, counter acting the hard work you are putting in with your exercise and nutrition. I am SO excited for you and glad you are so PUMPED! Keep it up ? I believe in you!!
I’m on my 11th day, and I’ve lost 6 pounds!! I love being able to eat a “normal” meal for dinner. Since I’m not very hungry before dinner, I don’t eat too much. Last night I made salmon patties and a salad of pomegranate, pear, red onion and cilantro. Wonderful!
Yum!!! Keep up the great work!
Abbey, that is incredible!!! Cutting out alcohol was a great decision. Alcohol slows down your metabolism, counter acting the hard work you are putting in with your exercise and nutrition. I am SO excited for you and glad you are so PUMPED! Keep it up 😉 I believe in you!!
Down 8 lbs using shakes for breakfast and dinner. Can’t wait until I am able to include exercise.
Wow! That’s great 🙂 Yes, adding exercise will be great!! Can’t wait to see how you continue to progress!
Haven’t lost anything, but not as hungry throughout the day anymore. Hopefully I’ll see some results soon.
Nicole, don’t worry!! Stay consistency, consistency is key!! That’s great that you aren’t as hungry! You’re doing awesome, keep pushing!
I’m down 1.4 pounds and I lost 10 inches! That includes all the measurement places! I feel great, I’m not Bloated anymore! I love the chocolate shakes!
Awesome! Chocolate is SO yummy!
Have just returned home from trip; shakes arrived while I was away so I am starting today.
Great! Let me know how you like them! 🙂
Hi! I so far have lost 7.8 lbs in 10 days! Super excited about it! I loved having a cheat meal (well it kind of ended up being a day) and still lost pounds.
That’s great! I love that!! You don’t have to deprive yourself, just things have to be taken in moderation and strategically! Great job!!
On my W2D6 weigh in I am down 8.5 lbs. I really enjoy and program, because it actually makes sense to me unlike many other programs out there.
My biggest hurdle is actually making sure I am eating all of the meals! I am trying but I feel like I am forcing myself to eat….how ironic since I’m pretty sure I use to only eat because I was board!
Week 2 and down 8.5 pounds?! That’s amazing!!! I love it 🙂 Thanks for sharing Deanna!
Definitely making sure to eat all of the meals, is crucial! It’s funny how that works, we don’t realize how much we actually need in order to reach our goals! It’s the complete opposite of the stereotype! YAY!!!! You go girl!
My biggest success is that I am continuing to follow the plan and eat healthy. It has been easier that my fiancé is eating healthy too. My biggest hurdle is not eating too much at dinner. I am so busy during the day I sometimes forget to eat my breakfast or eat one of my snacks so I am trying to make sure I don’t skip meals.
Definitely be sure to eat all of your meals! 🙂 Do your best to pace yourself throughout the day to space your foods out! You’re doing awesome Amanda, it’s great to have someone doing it with you!
I missed all of week two due to traveling. Was driving 500-600 miles a day. I have arrived at my destination now, ready to get back to the program. I’ve gained almost 3 pounds, but its the lack of exercise and road trip meals that are to blame. Do I go back to W1D1 since I had a whole week gone, or start with W2D1 or what? I’m of the mindset that maybe today needs to be day one all over.
You should just pick up right where you left off! I know that you can do this 🙂
I have the workouts down pat. Not a problem to wake up and work out. It’s the eating part that I struggle with. I binge eat when I feel anxious and overwhelmed. It used to happen only once or twice a month now it’s been a consistent 3 to 4 times a week. I am using the shakes and I love them I am using the boost and I love those too. The products work the workouts are great it’s my own battle with bingeing that I’m fighting. I need to change my mindset once again. It’s only the 2 no week in January and I refuse to give up. My goal is to lose 20 pounds before the Chicago Marathon in October that I intend to run. By July I intend to have the best body I’ve ever had!!!! 20 pounds isn’t a lot…. I weigh 142… the next time we check in I intend to be down. Good thoughts to everyone!!! Our goals are not out of reach!
Thanks for sharing Jodie! We are all rooting for you!
I know that you can get that under control. Remember that YOU are in control. YOU can do this!!!
Started shakes and eating right on Monday. I feel like its a struggle to eat all day so I may try the two shakes a day starting next Monday. I haven’t lost anything:( But I am proud of myself for sticking with it for 5 days. I’m also starting 3 day a week Zumba classes tomorrow morning so I am hoping that will help also.
I am so proud of you for sticking to it and working hard! I would definitely recommend 2 shakes per day, it will help optimize your weight loss. You are doing awesome! Keep working hard 🙂 As you are consistent with good nutrition, those unwanted pounds will fall off!
Had my first weigh-in Wednesday and lost 5 lbs my first week. I’m in the bathroom 10 times a day, but it’s working good and I’m not hungry!
Bev, that’s great!!! 5 pounds in 1 week, wow! You should be so proud of yourself, I am proud of you 🙂 Keep working hard.
I’ve lost 6.5 lbs. I’m happy with that – considering that I haven’t started exercising yet. I really enjoy the shakes. I add a tbsp of peanut butter to the chocolate mix or add fruit to the vanilla mix and put everything in the blender with ice. Both flavors tastes like a treat! The bars are great for when you’re on the go and don’t have access to a blender. I have found that if I have a shake for breakfast and lunch, the Idealburn supplement makes me feel “weird”. Cannot explain this feeling – very lethargic. So! I just have a small salad with some protein for lunch and this helps avoid this side effect. I find that I’m not really hungry at dinner time – so having the shake for dinner suits me just fine. It took 3-4 days to not be starving all the time, but my body has adjusted to the reduced caloric intake and the pounds are coming off! Hubby was away this week, so a shake for dinner was easy but now that he’s home, I need to make sure I keep our dinners light and healthy.
Way to go Kris!! Just keep up with your routine. It’s great that you have found a groove that works for you! your body will adjust to the change, just stay consistent!! You’re doing awesome 🙂 Definitely get your hubby on board, it’s so much easier when you have someone doing it with you.
My initial weigh-in was 1/5/16. On 1/11/16 my weigh-in showed a 20.1 pound loss!! I am pumped. My next weigh-in is on the 18th and I don’t weigh myself in between (a psych thing I am doing with myself). I take IdealBlock first thing in the morning, followed by a shake. Mid-morning I eat a banana or other fruit or nuts. At lunchtime, I take a second dose of IdealBlock and another shake. Mid afternoon I again will have a fruit or nuts. At dinnertime I take IdealTrim followed by a choice of frozen entre’s from Lean Cuisine, Healthy Choice or Stouffer Fit Kitchen. I usually eat two of the entre’s (one is usually 250-400 calories so 2 gives me roughly 1400 cals for the day including the shakes and fruits/nuts). I drink lots of water. The weight loss has lowered my A1C by 1.2 points. I need to lower it another 1.4 by 2/26/16 so that I can have knee replacement surgery. If I keep losing weight I am sure I can lower the A1C adequately. I see a dietician once per week and that is where I do my weigh-in. She is very supportive and helpful. Her name is Carole Stevens and I mention her name because she is the one who recommended IdealShape to me in the first place. So…hopefully less of me will be weighing in next week!
Wow Jeffrey! You are incredible!! I am so proud of you for staying strong to achieving your goals! Thank you for sharing this with us. I KNOW that you can exceed that 1.4, I believe in you 🙂 MAKE SURE to check back! I really can’t wait to follow you along your journey!
Week 1 – Shakes only, started work out beginning of second week – Down from 262 to 249 – Love It – First diet I am not starving all day and that works!!!
That’s awesome Craig! You are doing great 🙂 Keep it up!
I started my diet on the 28th of December and didn’t receive my shakes until the 5th of January. I lost about 4 pounds without the shakes, and then have lost about another 4 pounds since I started on the shakes. I do the shake for breakfast and for the late evening snack. They definitely help with my appetite. I can truthfully say that my thinking about food has definitely decreased since using the shakes. I am definitely able to stop eating in the evenings. THAT IS A FIRST FOR ME. I normally can’t stop eating all evening. I am hoping this becomes a permanent habit.
I didn’t take my measurements before starting so I don’t know if I am losing inches. I have the measurements from a year ago (when I weighed exactly the same as I did when I started) but haven’t looked them up again yet. I don’t usually change a whole lot anyway….even my sister tells me that when I lose weight I don’t look much different. My real reason for wanting to lose is to be able to run faster. I know the added weight is slowing me down. I lost (but then regained) almost 20 pounds last year and cut my pace time down from an 11 min. pace to a 9:55 pace.
I haven’t been able to exercise yet due to recovering from surgery. I get the stitches out Monday and should be able to start walking in water. I am already signed up at the community center and can’t wait. I haven’t been able to run since Thanksgiving. I am tired of sitting around.
I don’t know if you can give me any pointers or not, but I struggle with trying to lose weight while running…I can’t seem to figure out how to fuel for a run and cut back on calories. I figured that since I can’t run, I would simply concentrate on losing weight. I AM TRULY SURPRISED THAT I AM ACTUALLY LOSING AT 1500 CALORIES A DAY!!. I really don’t get it. I just hope I keep losing.
That’s great!! I love to hear things like this 🙂 You are doing incredible!! Yes, good nutrition is KEY! I know that you will continue to do great!!! I know that you can do this.
So far so good. I haven’t weighed myself but my size 6 jeans are loose. I am definitely getting stronger as I am using heavier weights than last week and starting to see some definition.
That’s great Michelle! I love to hear it 🙂 As you continue to get stronger and lift more, you will notice that lean muscle for sure. Keep working hard!
Today is my 12th day and I must say that first 7 was a pain but this week has been much better!!! I had a cheat night last night and afterwards I didn’t have that warm fuzzy feeling I normally get from eating like that!!! I felt horrible so lesson learned once you start eating healthy you can feel the difference when you eat the way before you started eating healthy. Total I have lost 6 pounds and felt really good this last week. Following the meal plan has been a big success for me and that bag of chips in the pantry that has been starring at me has been my biggest hurdle!!!! I am up to 10,000 steps a day and I am trying to burn 2500-3000 calories a day is my goal!!! thanks for your continued support as I progress!!!
Eric, you’re doing awesome! I can’t wait to see how you continue to progress! It’s definitely hard to go back to your old habits once you have cleaned up your nutrition. Not a problem though, like you said lesson learned. But this does not mean you have to deprive yourself 100% from the things you enjoy, you will just want to have them in moderation.
I am W2 D6 on plan for my breakfast, am snack , lunch and pm snack, still struggle with dinner time, I think I am keeping in the calorie range, I am down 3 lbs, and could not find my initial measurements that I submitted, I did not right them down,so the beginning of this week I measured again so I will repeat in a couple of weeks, my sweet cravings are gone, have not wanted any chocolate :), So now off to my day 6 exercise.
I am recovering 3 weeks out from knee surgery but feel great!!!!
Great job Kathryn!! Glad to hear it! 🙂
Down 3 lbs. I’ve been working hard at conquering my addiction to sweets. Have cut out desserts and the majority of sweet snacks throughout the day are now fresh fruits or a quick bar. Next 2 weeks goals include a workout with coworkers at least every other day.
Nice Cindy! I’m proud of you! Keep it up! 🙂
I am replacing two meals a day with a shake and staying under 1500 calories a day. The first few days I was hungry but have felt great since day 4. I’m two weeks in and have lost two pounds. I have a bad knee and do not excersize as I should but was still hoping to loose more the first two weeks. ?
Here’s to week three!
Keep with it Laurie! You’ve got this! Check back with my in a couple weeks and we’ll see how you’re doing! 🙂
I have just finished week 2 and lost exactly 30 pounds but I have 70 more to lose. I have lost 3″ around the waist. I am drinking 2 shakes per day and tons of water-over 1/2 gal. The shakes fill me up for hours. My snacks during the day consist of an apple or an orange, a few oz. of chicken or turkey, 20-30 almonds (yes I count them), or a protein bar. Dinner is a small salad or Nutribullet smoothie. I eat only when I start to feel hungry, basically a 3-5 hr schedule. I plan on starting exercising this week. I travel extensively plan around my schedule especially going through airports, I make sure I have a shake before, bring a couple of protein bars and buy fruit along the way and drink lots of water.
Wow Dave! That’s incredible! Keep up all of the hard work!
I’ve been useing the shakes for 2 weeks down 4 pounds
Nice job Sean!
I haven’t weighed so I have no idea if I have lost anything. I like the shakes but the Ideal bars mess with my stomach. My daughter stated that I shouldn’t be drinking these because I will gain weight because of the protein. I am active at my job and try to walk on the elliptical every day for at least 15 min. I am building up time each day. I hope she isn’t right. In,Ike the taste of the shakes but absolutely do not want to be gaining weight. I need to lose about 25lbs before her wedding in the fall.
Keep with it Shelley, keep weighing in and let us know about the results! Sometimes the food can take a little getting used to if your body isn’t used to it. You can do it!
I have lost 4lbs. since I have using the Idealshakes and eating healthier. My hungriest moments are in the morning. I have a shake and then a yogurt, but it seems i am still hungry. I then try to eat a hard boiled egg or something healthier. Maybe I will have to try a Idealbar. I feel great having lost some weight, but feel i need to also tone my body. I am not a big workout person, but wondering what i can do to tone my body while losing the weight? I hope to try to lose 1 lb a week, that is my goal and once i lose the 10 lbs to try to maintain that loss and keep eating healthy. Any suggestions will be welcome!
You should try the Ideal Shape up Challenge! It’s a 12-week program to help tone your body! Or you can try the 15-day IdealFit challenge. You can do this! Glad you’ve seen results! 🙂
I have lost 6 lbs. My greatest challenge is eating enough and at regular intervals. I tend to get busy and then forget to eat and therefore binge eat because I am so hungry all of the sudden. The shakes, and the snack bars are a considerable help to me, and I love the Ideal Boost packs to add to my water because I have noticed it helps me feel fuller.
Glad you are seeing such awesome results! 🙂
I actually started dieting on Oct 5th but didn’t register on here until 2 weeks ago. So I’m really like 3 months in. I have lost 53lbs and 10in off my waste. I do workout at least 3 times a week. I still have about 36 lbs to get to my goal weight and I know this part will be much slower. I’m pretty excited about my progress and feel so much better than I did 3 months ago. I don’t really get bad food cravings anymore and really try to stick to my plan.
WOW Bridgette! I am so impressed with you! Keep up the amazing job!!
In the first 14 days I have lost 8 pounds! I only substituted lunch with one ideal shake. I just got done reading the ideal shape plan and am excited to start using their menu to help me with my nutrition! Heading to the grocery store now! 🙂
Down 3 lbs
Great job!
Just finished the first two weeks and so excited to report I have lost at least 6-7 lbs. I replace one meal a day about 4 or 5 days a week and watch my calorie intake. I am pleased with my progress so far. I have been sick so have not been able to do my walking. But am please regardless.
Glad to hear it! Awesome job!
I have only been at it a week, and I have lost 5 lbs. I have to say, I really miss my carbs. 🙁 and bownies & cookies. But I am sticking with it, so yea.
It’s tough to give up those carbs!! When you have one cheat meal a week, look forward to that cookie. All is good in moderation! Awesome job, Jessica!
Hi Lindsey, I love the program! I am W3 D1, did well last week with exercise, was not able to complete D6 could not get it to load. I am doing well during the week with the food plan, a shake in the morning, snacks and shake some days at lunch. Weekends are my struggle for eating as we eat out more, but I am working on making better choices, salad with dressing on the side, meat w/o bread. When it comes to the challenges I am not able to run, but do another days challenge, walk 2-3 days/week including hills. I am down 4lbs. and 1inch off my waist and hips.
Keep up the good work Kathryn!
I took a break after eating the shakes for a couple of days because I had really bad heartburn (I had also been using the ideal drinks you mix with water). I just started again yesterday and the heartburn is back, but it didn’t keep me up in the night like before, however I started using prilosec again. Is this something my body will get used to? I’d rather not continue to use Prilosec. I’ve been using the Chocolate shake, is the vanilla better for heartburn? I’ve tried the ideal water mix drinks without an ideal shake and it does not give me heartburn. It’s super weird.
Hi Joann!
I’m sorry to hear that you have been getting heartburn. We always recommend if this is happening to consult with your doctor. Check back in and keep us updated.
Day 8 and I’m down 10 pounds. I have more energy too and just feel healthier. And my pain from fibromyalgia is substantially less. Motivation to keep going.
I travel this weekend and am planning ahead to make it work.
WOW Deb!! That’s awesome!! So glad you are seeing results and feeling better! 🙂
I started with the 15 day challenge and have just started into the 12 week plan. Lost 8 lbs and 4 inches. Feel great!! Love the shakes. I don’t have access to a blender for lunches so I’m going to try 1 shake a day. If I notice a stall I think I’ll purchase a blender for work! Lol. This program absolutely works! Tried to add a pic but it’s not working 🙁
Soo so happy for you Julie! 🙂
I’m down 4lbs and have lost 1 1/2 to 2 inches everywhere! I have really loved the shakes and meal plan. I say the post about pre and post work out meals/snacks. I’m kind of confused how to use them as far as do I replace them for one of my meals and snacks or do I somehow add them in too? I usually wake up do my breakfast shake and then wait about 30 min, do my work out, then wait about another 30-60 min and then do one of my snacks. What do you recommend and what is the best way to do it?
I am down 7.5 pounds after my first 14 days! I really look forward to having my shake for breakfast. I feel satisfied and have not had any cravings. I have worked very hard to plan my meals and snacks out and grocery shop only once each week. I have set my Fitbit to give me a silent alarm when it is time to have a snack and time to get on my treadmill. I feel like, for the first time, my head is really in the game!
Wow that’s amazing Mandi! Great job!
This is my 14 day mark. I lost 2&1/2lbs. But some days the scale shows no loss & I began to think its not working! Then I read others comment and see this can be a natural happening.
You asked for a”hurdle”. Well, I’m a night person and ask, can I have salads and fish/chicken in the day time and then have the bars and shakes at evening time? Rather backwards I know, but my hunger is at night! (My junk foods occurred around 8:00pm). I’ve tried it with good results but thought I’d better check in. So far I’m pleased with results. I know I have a slow metabolism. Looking forward to next month!
Hi Donna! Congrats on your weight loss! Every bit counts! And yeah, you can do that! As long as you are getting the correct amount of calories and sticking to the food on the plan. 🙂
I have lost of about 3 inches and about 5 pounds. I feel great and I love the shake recipes. I’m not hungry at all. I want to lose 45 more pounds. I’m not giving up. I know is is a total life style change.
Great job!!
I have only lost 2 lbs and that was the first day that I started the shakes. However, the gains I had gained during the holidays have stopped, so I guess that’s a bit of progress. I am a little frustrated because I’ve done Atkins before with good weight loss results during induction and held those results for many months. I think that I may have become more insulin resistant over the holidays with WAY too much sugars. I am considering trying a week or so of Atkins to reset my insulin resistance and remind my body to burn fat. I also am questioning my cheat day. Another hurdle is dealing with family dinners. We end up with three different meals being prepared because of the differences in caloric needs. (middle aged man, middle aged woman and teenage stick girl) But despite all of this, I am continuing the course of increased fitness and decreased excessive body .
Keep up the hard work Darlene! I promise if you stick to the meal plan exactly, you will have results. A cheat day once a week should be a set time that you decide to indulge. This keeps it manageable and keeps you from splurging throughout the week because you have something to look forward to!
I’ve been doing great with my diet, exercise it tough with 2 small kids and a full time job, but I’m averaging 5 times/wk so far. I need to increase my my water intake as well, I’m currently only getting about 1/2 gallon, maybe a little more.
Great job Darah!
I am down 4 lbs in 3 weeks. I find that when I stick with 2 shakes a day and 3 other healthy meals/snacks I am not craving the things I used to. I also like having 1 cheat meal a week. :). Where I need help with is exercising. I’m a single mom of 2 young girls and work full time and find that I just can’t motivate myself after the long days.
Hi Liz! Great job on your weight loss! That’s awesome 🙂 Have you heard about our 12-week shape up challenge? They are quick workouts every day you can do at home! 🙂
My first two weeks went alright. I am losing 2 lbs a week and that has been my aim. Because I don’t cook I have been going the Weight watcher dinners and sticking with my calorie count each day. I have also started putting a little exercise back into my day trying to work my way up to a healthier me. I did have headaches for the first week but that didn’t stop me. The shakes are great. I have COPD so my exercise is different that the fast paced ones they have but I still exercise so I’m doing great. My biggest hurdle was to not do the late night snacks and if I did to choose fruit or something else that was healthy.
Awesome Joyce! Congrats!
I have gained exactly 1 pound, but my body fat is down .8%. This is just what I’m looking for, build lean muscle and lose body fat!
Awesome Brian! You’ve got this!
I am down 3 pounds, 2 week 1 and 1 week 2. I’m thrilled with the results and feel great. I am doing 1 shake for breakfast, bars for snacks and staying within calories for lunch/dinner. I am very carb sensitive, so all my carbs come from veggies. I chose to eliminate all grains from the eating plan. My biggest success is that I feel in control for the first time in my life. The smaller more frequent meals are helping with that. My only hurdle is the scale. I’m working on just the way I feel instead of letting the scale dictate my mood. Always a work in progress…….
Nice Susan!! You are doing great! Keep it up!!
I got started late because of a cold, I’m day 6 into the plan and I’m down 3 pounds already and lost probably an inch .. I feel great! My biggest challenge is eating every 3 hours because of my job. I’m a hairstylist so it’s not always possible to just stop and eat.. Sometimes I eat to often then not often enough. I find myself so off by afternoon snack and dinner that if I continued on schedule it would be after bed time .. So I eat my last 2 meals really close together 🙁
This is awesome Angel! Keep going!
well I have lost 12 pounds thats almost a pound a day!! I am not tired. I have a shake for breakfast and eat a light lunch. In the afternoon I drink idealboost. I eat a small dinner. I do not get hungry. I really hope to keep loosing!!
Awesome job Hillary!! Keep it up!!
Just down to 138 which is 5 pounds down from my starting weight. I gave myself smaller goals than usual and it’s working this time. Less stress and self-expectations are keeping me more consistent. So 20 more pounds to go which I feel is do-able these next 9 weeks. 🙂 I love drinking the IdealShake for breakfast. It really does help fuel me through the morning. I make myself eat my fruit for my morning snack.
You are doing awesome Kimberly! I am so proud of you!! 🙂
I’ve been using the shakes since January 9th I believe and with the work out as well I’m down from 165 to 148 as of this morning!
Seriously?? Lacy that’s AMAZING!! Keep it up!
I am at 157.4 and I started at 157. I struggle with figuring out what to eat. I have a hectic schedule and live by myself so I do not keep a lot of food on hand. I am getting better, but I find myself hungry a lot of the time. I did not feel this way before. I am going to keep better track of my calorie intake because I may not be hitting my target. I bought the ideal bars and find those leave me wanting more even with drinking a 16 oz bottle of water after. I will get it figured out, but I really want to bee in the 140’s and I am not seeing it right now.
Hi Cheryl,
Have you been following the IdealPlan exactly? If you do this and have your snacks readily on hand, I KNOW you can get the results you want. Stick it out! 🙂
I have dropped nearly 6 lbs. Now down to 149.7 lbs.. Feeling good. Finding it difficult to eat so much good food. I keep telling myself to give my system time to adjust to the quanties of healthy food. Afterall i would eat quadruple the amount in bad for me processed foods.
It does take a little while to get used to– stick it out and I promise it’ll pay off! You’ve got this Tricia! 🙂
I am doing the shakes twice a day and using the meal bars for in between snack. I am eating better portions at dinner and I feel great. I waited to start this on a Monday so this Monday will be my 14 day milestone. I am happy not only to be down 6 lbs but also I have more energy and am feeling better than ever because I think the key was making sure I have nutrients in my body during the day. I was and am still not a great breakfast or lunch person but the shakes make it easy I keep one container at work and one at home so I always have it on hand. For the first time I am excited to be making progress that just can see and feel. I love this program!
Karen I am so happy to hear that you are loving it! Way to go! 🙂
I am down 4 pounds and about an 1.5 inches off my waist, inch off my hips. half inch off my thighs and nothing off my biceps:( I know I am stronger because I can do toe pushups, where I couldn’t before, but my arms aren’t getting smaller……
Keep at it Angela! Seeing progress takes consistency! You’ve got this! 🙂
So far everything is great. I switch my shake flavor so I don’t get bored. I love to make my shakes with coconut water. I do have a problem with remembering my snacks, I am just not hungry? Dinners are working great. I love the fact I can have a wise lunch out and have the shake for dinner. So far I have lost 7.5 lbs. I need to take measurement. Will do that soon.
Nice job Jennifer!
Struggling with going out a lot due to having out of town guests, but will get back on track. Miss not having received 2nd week of workouts?!?
Hi Suzy! So you should be able to see all of the workouts on one page. The place where you got the 1st week of workouts should have a drop down tab with week 2-12. You have to change the tab. Does that help?
So far I’ve lost 6lbs and several inches. I’ve had a boot on since 12/7 due to surger and Just got the boot off this past Monday and given permission to start walking. I’ve been doing all the exercises and eating all my veggies and fruits for snacks and meals. I’m determined to keep going as I’ve a ways to go to get to my size 6/8.. Clothes are fitting better and legs/arms/ back are looking better. Ugh the tummy is smaller but not tight yet . I’m not sure way it’s slower but I’m gonna keep working it. And all the post I See help to keep me motivated
So glad we can help keep you motivated Brianna! Whatever you need to keep going! You’ve got this! 🙂
Been doing the exercises and mostly following the nutrition plan. No 1000 percent on the nutrition, but not busting it out either. Lost 3lbs first week then turned around and gained 2lbs back. SOOO frustrating….I think my body is brain dead! I love the workouts. Biggest success…..being consistent with the workouts. Biggest challenge…..not giving up due to no really visible change in weight or the way my clothes fit. ARGHHH being over 50 sucks with no hormones! 🙂
Great job on being consistent! Stick with it, you will see results!
I’ve lost 9 lbs, but more importantly I feel fantastic. I no longer get the afternoon blahs, my energy level is high and remains steady throughout the day and evening. Also, the increase and exercise and decrease in sugar have eased the pain and stiffness caused by arthritis. My biggest victory: staying on plan every single day even though there are two huge bags of potato chips in the pantry and a drawer full of Milky Ways in my husbands night stand. Biggest Challenge: getting to the gym. I know it’s only been two weeks but I’m confident this is a plan I can stick with for the rest of my life and not only get to goal but keep the weight off this time.
I am so glad that you are seeing results AND feeling so much better! GREAT job at staying on the plan despite distractions! You can do this!! 🙂
Well so far so good. I really like the chocolate shake for breakfast and LOVE the two snack periods during the day. Having battled PCOS my entire adult life I am so looking forward to getting out of this weight gain rutt and back to myself. So far I am down almost 3lbs and not sure how many inches as I can’t access my week one measurements for some reason. Hoping to start to notice it in my clothes soon.
Glad it’s going good for you Lynnette! Keep up the hard work!
I haven’t lost any weight. I do not get hungry in between. I need to incorporate the 6 day exercise program then I’m sure I’ll see the pounds shed.
Stick with it Gail! You’ve got this! Can’t wait to hear once you incorporate the exercise!
I have lost 4.5 lbs and I feel great. I am motivated and do not want to lose the momentum. My biggest challenge so far was being hungry and trying not to make a bad choice. It has taken a few shakes to get used to them and I love the workouts. Thank you!
Wow awesome job Sunsil! Way to keep it up! 🙂
I’m excited I lost 6 lbs! I am actually on week three but I weighed myself last week and lost 4-5 lbs! The hardest part is being consistent with the exercise. So far I have been missing one work out each week. I do make up for it the next day but feel it’s not quite what I should be doing. But the results are showing so I guess I shouldn’t be too hard on myself. When I feel I’m too tired I say to myself “it’s only 20 minutes” most of the time it works. I received my shakes during week two and have been drinking those twice a day along with the ideal shape bars. This week I received by ideal boost and tried a few of those.
Great job Barbara!! Keep up the awesome work! 🙂
Today is my 12 day and I have lost 5 pounds. I have more energy and I am aware of my food choices more and reach for the healthier options. I struggle at time but I never over indulge. Just tiny rewards. I know that this takes time abe I will see ans amazing result in the end!!
Great job Amanda!
I am only on day 7 but I love the shakes and the bars. Waiting to weigh myself next week at 2 week mark cause I know if I weigh now it won’t be right cause of that time of month. The idealboost really gets me going I love it. And I feel full with the shakes and the bars. Love that the shakes don’t taste chalky!
So glad it’s working for you Jill! Keep it up! 🙂
I have emailed you twice now trying to find out how to download the Idealshape plan book. I can only find the 3 page summary. I just ordered Boost and Bars to go with my shakes because I am not seeing any results yet. Please let me know how to get the ebook, please!!
Sorry about that Sue, you should have received a link to download it in an email. I’ll send you another link 🙂
Wow Lindsey, Your not busy lately are You?
Haha we’ve had lots to keep up with! 🙂
I have lost 9 lbs, in 12 days! Love the taste of the Shakes and bars! I have more energy and do not get hungry or have the 3pm crash.
That’s awesome Julie! Glad you are able to stay energized all day long!!
Down 4 lbs since beginning of the new year. I’m motivated to continue (I only have 20 lbs to lose). The shakes are great and easy — I don’t have to plan ahead for lunch at work. Weekends are hardest.
Weekends are the hardest Sadie! Keep with it though– you can do this! 🙂
I have been drinking the shakes for about 2 weeks now and absolutely love them. I drink a shake in the morning and one at lunch and it keeps me satisfied. I’ve lost 2 inches off my waste! I haven’t been getting on the scale at all and don’t feel the need to since I can feel it in my clothes. Also, I haven’t started any exercise programs yet and I still eat what I like in moderation except for fried foods. I will be ordering the bars soon 🙂
That’s so great Liz! I’m glad you can feel the difference!
I have not been on this for 14 days, I have only been on it for a week. I love the shakes and they make me fill full. Yes week one was really hard, I didn’t stick to the plan and that messed me up. I didn’t loose any weight but I have had some energy, also I was sick for a couple of days and that hurt. I have really been trying to exercise but, that is really hard for me to. Yes I do get really discouraged cause I have so much to loose that it doesn’t seem like nothing is going to work. I really like this though and plan on sticking with it. My main goal for this week is to follow the plan and exercise right. My biggest hurdle I would say is just trying to eat right and stick to the plan. It is so hard when junk food is always around me. I am going doing better this week!
Hi Tammy! You can do this! Yes follow the plan and incorporate some exercise and I know it will work for you! 🙂
Down 3 lbs as of today. Working with this plan in combination to another that has the workouts I need and both utilize the 5 meal plan, portion control versus calorie counting and the increased workout, finally starting to see results. I’m not sure what my measurements are, I forgot to take them before I ate today lol.
Nice job Shannon! 🙂
After 2 weeks of using the Ideal Shakes (4 days/week), I am down 2 lbs. The Protein Shakes help me keep calorie count down each day, along with burning calories/day with wt lift, exercises & walking/running. I eat small (fresh fruit & veg) snacks in between the 2 shake meal replacements, then a regular supper of restricted calories. I’m thinking that is what you consider 5 ‘meals’ per day?
Yes this is correct. So you want to eat 5 moderately-small meals a day. So a shake for breakfast and lunch, two healthy snacks in between those meals, and then a sensible dinner. Keep it up Andrea you’re doing GREAT! 🙂
Lost 5 lbs in the first 2 weeks….not bad! Clothes are fitting looser. I find this program relatively easy to follow.
That is great Dajana! Congrats! 🙂
Really love the shakes (and support). I don’t think I’m utilizing the shakes in a beneficial way. However here’s what’s going on:
*Down 4 lbs. not that great but I agree with mussel gain. So I’m focused on that.
*I work 2am-10am and its difficult to be on a “routine diet”, this is my biggest hurdle.
* I realized I eat more out of Boredom and I just have to figure out how to redirect my mind. Any suggestions?
Thanks again for all your positive emails & videos. It really helps.
Hi Michael! First of all, congrats on your weight loss! Any weight loss is a reason to celebrate. I totally understand that it’s definitely difficult to be on a routine diet with a crazy schedule. When do you sleep? I recommend having a shake when you wake up for “breakfast” and then eating every 2-3 hours from there. So have a shake, then a healthy snack a few hours later. Then have a shake for lunch, then a healthy snack a few hours later. Then dinner a few hours after that! 🙂 Hope that helps! Keep up the great work!
I’ve been using the shakes and bars for a week and a half. I lost one pound after the first week. My biggest success was working out 7 days in a row. My biggest obstacle is overcoming my mentality about meal replacement.
Great job Carin! Working out every day can be hard. I’m so proud of you! Keep up all the great work! 🙂
I have lost 3 pounds in 10 days. About a year ago I made it through the first round of insanity and lost 10 lbs. I gained the weight back over 6 months. Now I’m trying it again. I am only doing a morning shake then yogurt snack. A small lunch then a protein bar snack. then dinner. I find myself getting really hungry about an hour after dinner. I work out 5 days a week usually Insanity workout or T25 when short on time. Tried ideal shape after not seeing much weight loss after working out and lifting weights alone. Now I’m trying to focus on cardio which is why I chose Insanity again.
Currently at I am 5’5, 193 pounds.
Great job Kandis! Keep following the meal plan and I know that it will work for you! 🙂
I actually only started a week ago. I have lost 4 lbs. (and I’m sure some inches, but I haven’t measured yet). My daughter started the same time and has lost 7 lbs.
Wow ML! Congrats on your weightloss! Keep up the AMAZING work! 🙂
Ok, So I have been doing this for about a week and the first week I didn’t stick with it, had a lot going on so I didn’t lose anything. I also had to make some changes. Like I was having like a shake as soon as I woke up, then snack around 9, lunch shake around 11:30, then snack around 2. My problem….I was starving when I got off at 4. So now since I am really not starving when I get up, I had my breakfast shake at 9, snack at 11:30, lunch shake at 2, then snack around 4:30 then a small meal for supper. I am better able to control my hunger. I am hoping to check back in with a weight loss next week! We will see. Does anyone out there have any ideas for smoothies with the pumpkin kind? I notice they are not in the smoothie book. Wish me luck!
Thanks!
Great job Tiffany! Way to stick with it even if it got hard! 🙂
I’m down 2 lbs, been drinking the shakes for breakfast everyday. My workouts are sporadic… I have to get better at that part.
Great job Amanda! Just keep trying– consistency is hard but it totally pays off! 🙂
Today makes exactly my 2 weeks. Down 5lbs. I have plenty of energy. The boost helps mid day or after noon when at work cuz i get tired and it gives me the energy. I’ve worked-out not, not as consistent. Have to admit i had my cheat meal. But happy w my results now. Going for another 5! Biggest challange right now is not having at least a little coffee, but for the most part I have succeded. I’ve had coffee twice in two Weeks.
Wow Erica! Congrats on your weight loss! I’m glad you are doing good and are happy with your results! 🙂
I have been taking the shakes now for two weeks, breakfast and lunch, plus this is my 4th day on the 15 day challenge. I have lost 5 pounds. I have been exercising on and off for several years but your 15 day challenge makes me feel that I am actually working out. My biggest challenge is I want to eat, not always healthy, when i just get home from work and at Night. any suggestions? I’m taking only the shakes.
Hi Leff! What time are you eating at? I am proud of you and your weight loss so far! But yeah it can be hard to not snack late at night! Keep on trying!
I lost 12 pounds I strictly go as directed… Two dishes a day and one regular meal and I stay at 1200 calories a day or less… Love it and I just ordered my second idealshake
That’s awesome Lily!!
I am down 5-lbs in 14-days. I have lost inches too. I love the shakes (vanilla and strawberry) and I am having fun making my own low calorie recipes.
I started walking today, 2-miles.
Nice job Evelyn! Keep it up! 🙂
I’ve lost 7lbs in 2 weeks! Love the simple plan and the 12 week challenge workouts. My biggest hurdle was the blizzard we had this past weekend. I didn’t do too poorly, but could have done better. Back on track and motivated to move my progress forward.
Keep up the awesome work, Tammy! 🙂
My biggest hurdle so far is eating the 5 meals a day. I normally only ate 2-3 times a day at most, so it’s hard to add in those extra few meals. The great thing is tho in the last two weeks I have upped my workouts and have been eating the 5 small meals a day and I have lost 7lbs!! I am so happy!! I have been stuck in a rut for a while so it feels great to be seeing the weight coming off again!
Greta job Ashley! That’s awesome! 🙂
I have lost 5lbs. The hardest part has been drinking enough water. I had a rocky first three days as I really hadn’t taken the time to actually meal plan/prep but I made myself a schedule and it made life a lot easier!
Great job Bianca! It makes things a lot easier when a meal plan is made. That way you know exactly what and when to eat! 🙂
I’ve had a slow start, having an ideal shake for breakfast most work days, but still eating my normal foods the rest of the time (with some healthy adjustments sometimes, but not always). When I run out of frozen lunches, I plan to add an ideal shake for lunch and see how that goes…but it’s not really keeping me full in the morning unless I wait to drink it after I arrive at work, so not sure how lunch will go. I don’t really exercise, but know I need to in order to at least get more toned. I have lost about 2 lbs.
Hi Theresa! I know that if you follow the meal plan exactly, you will see AMAZING results. Congrats on your weight loss! 🙂
I lost 6lbs in 2 weeks. The shakes really do help in stopping your cravings.
That’s awesome Ray! Glad you are loving the shakes! 🙂
Lost 3 lbs the first week! I’ve built a better routine with meals during the work week. Now to work on the weekend which is the current struggle.
Weekends are always tough! Keep up the hard work and keep trying. You can do it! Congrats on your weight loss! 🙂
Have not lost any weight, but have lots of energy.. I just ordered the bars so I am hoping that will help for the in between times
I’m glad your energy is increasing Joan! Keep with it, follow the meal plan exactly, and you will see results!!
At the end of our first two weeks I am down almost 5 pounds and my fiancé is down 6! So happy with our results so far!
That’s amazing Lauren!! 🙂
I’m only down 2 lb’s after 2 weeks – but I’ve been so busy with things I haven’t given it my all yet. It appears commitment takes full concentration! I have started to work out however and will today go for the 100% commitment needed to be successful.
Go for the 100% Bryan! You’ve got this! 🙂
Sorry for my late check in…its been busy as it is for most I am sure. I am down 5 lbs but may have caused myself to go backwards last night from indulging in my wine. It is one of my challenges. I did not measure when I first started because I live alone, have a hard time seeing certain body surface areas and needed to find someone I was comfortable in allowing them to see and measure me. I have gotten that done so in the future will be able to hopefully use the loss of inches as motivation as well. How often should you measure yourself?
I am not a morning person so my workouts happen in the evening after work and another challenge I face is making sure I make that time for me. Should I be doing additional cardio to burn fat along with the weekly fat/strength work outs?
I am slightly frustrated when I drink my shake for breakfast and lunch and struggle when y office mate has some good looking lunch stuff…but I am trying to tell myself better to self start this healthy lifestyle and get fit an lose weight than the surgical alternative. I have 80lbs to lose and sometimes its hard to see that there may be light at the end of the tunnel. You mention muscle gain due to work outs but with as much weight as I have to lose would I still see the weight come off first?
The comments here have definitely helped and look forward to the next check in and your feedback.
Dawn
Hi Dawn! You’ve got this!! Adding cardio to a workout couldn’t hurt. It would be awesome! But you don’t have to add it in. I would measure yourself every time you weigh in- like once a week. You would still see the weight come off first. Muscle gain would be happening, but for you to see that muscle the fat must come off first. However, sometimes building muscle can make it seem like you’re not losing as much fat as you are because it weighs some, but you are still losing FAT and that is what matters. Hope this helps! 🙂
It has been 2 weeks since I started Idealshape Shakes. It has not been easy but it also has not been as hard as I thought it would be, meaning I could push myself a little harder. Having shakes for breakfast has helped me so much and it was the easiest transition ever. I usually didn’t have breakfast and now it is so easy to get my day started and it is something that my stomach can handle that early in the morning. The hardest obstacle for me has been taking my second shake for lunch and eating my other healthy snacks as opposed to unhealthy greasy and salty snacks. I love salty and spicy foods, I just don’t love what they do to me. Four out of the seven days in a week I can make it and feel great about myself, but I have cheated a few days when I choose to skip lunch and all my other small meals or snacks and by the end of the day have a huge dinner. I have lost 3 Lbs in 2 weeks and I am so happy with that. I know I can do better. I have been trying to go to the gym more and I usually make it 2 times a week. I like to think I am also very active just on a normal day basis, my job requires me to walk almost all day and assist people. The fist two weeks have been good, just not as great as I could have possibly made them. I am going to do better for myself.
Thanks for all the support!
-Patti
Great job Patti! Keep up the hard work! Remember to push yourself. You’ve got this! 🙂
This is Day #10 for me and I have lost 6 pounds so far! I have been following the plan exactly and staying as close to the 1200 calorie/day as possible. I definitely feel better cutting out all that sugar from my diet. But I admit that the first 4 or 5 days we’re really hard for me…I love food & shakes aren’t the same exactly. Now I have gotten into finding new shake and delicious dinner recipes & the past few days have been a breeze. Really happy with the plan. Thank you!!
So glad it’s working for you Allison! Keep up the hard work! 🙂
I am down about two pounds. I am pleasantly surprised by the taste of the shakes and that they keep me full through the morning.
I am so glad you are loving the shakes! Congrats on your weight loss! 🙂
Down 5.5 lbs so far, I only weigh once a week on Saturdays so it could be more =)
That’s so great Myranda! Congrats! 🙂
Down 2 lbs. Been having one shake in the morning (leaves me full) and making good choices during the day. Nighttime is the worst because I eat dinner late; still making good choices though. I need to incorporate exercise to amp up my goals – just need to find the time!
Awesome Christine! Keep up the good work. Try following the plan exactly and see what happens! :0
After a week I am down about 2.5 lbs, however, I have been working out since the beginning of January and have really not seen the scale move until Ideal Shake. I feel a big difference in my exercise pants (they are falling off of me) so that 2.5 lbs has to be more fat and muscle gain. It really helps control hunger most days. Also I have found myself craving the shakes. It did take a few days to get used to them.
Nice Jennie! Glad it’s working for you!
I’m down 3 pounds so far. Didn’t see results the first few days on the scale and it started to get me down but I pushed through and am now starting to see the results! I feel great! I can’t find my first measurements to compare inches lost but I can feel a change in the way my clothes fit!! I like that!
That’s amazing! Great job!
I have been using the shakes for a couple of weeks now. I am down 9 pounds! I just ordered my ideal boost, and bars. I am excited to incorporate them into my diet as well. I have had a few rough days and cheated. The emails help keep me on track I reread them when I need some words of encouragement.
Wow Destiny! You are amazing! I am so proud of you! Great job!
Only started a week ago and I have lost 3 pounds I love the shakes!!
I love them too!! So happy for you!!
I am sticking to the diet, drinking the shakes and eating the bars, great diet and I ‘ am never hungry also eating a regular meal in evening. Sorry I can’t give you my weight must replace my weight scales .But I know if I didn’t lose weight I lost inches because my clothes are not as tight. It is a great diet!!!!
So happy to hear that Connie!!
2nd challenge lost 3lbs and over all 5 1/2 inches total. Love the workout and getting better at food prepping this time. Thank you Lindsey for this wonderful program!!
Great job Karey!!
I exercise 4 hours a week right now. Zumba Tues and Thur and then a spin class ( no joke!) And body pump class on fridays. Looking for a Monday and/ or wed class as well. I like different things, I’ve taken the shake about every other morning but eat what I like the rest of the day, just less of. Lost 1 1/2 pounds. Long way to go but I have lost inches.
Awesome work Peggy! Keep it up! 🙂
My biggest success was staying with the plan during the week and losing 7 pounds. However, my biggest hurdle was the weekend. The lack of routine made it harder to eat my five small meals and it was a slippery slope. I need to do a better job of staying focused on the weekends, regardless of what our plans are.
Way to go Joy! Weekends are always hard– but stick to it! You’ve got this! 🙂
2 weeks & I’ve lost 8 lbs!
Congrats Melanie!
Not quite 2 weeks and I am down about 8 lbs.
Wow Joe! That’s awesome!! 🙂
Lindsey, Hi !!
Can I Do My Shake and Bar In The Morning, Then At Lunch Have NutriSystem and Dinner NutriSystem and still loose weight?
We suggest following the IdealPlan exactly, but we are not experts NutriSystem and could not tell you if that will help you lose weight. We know if you follow the IdealPlan exactly, it will help you lose weight.
Absolutely love! Have tried Herbalife in the past and could totally have eaten a meal an hour after drinking a shake, not the case with idealshape! When starting I weighed 286 and in two weeks have dropped down to 271 and lost 4 in off my waist! Beyond amazed and satisfied with this product! Thank you idealshape 🙂
Wow Cassie! That is so awesome! Our shakes have such a great blend in them to help you stay satisfied and fuller longer. So glad it’s working for you! 🙂
I love the shakes, and have no problem with the eating part so far. I have joined a membership at Planet Fitness, so if anyone is familiar with them I could use a few good workout strategies. I am 60 years old and have pretty bad arthritis, but I can stand a little pain so I want to do weights and light cardio. (Had open heart surgery a year ago.} I weigh 310 right now, so we’ll see what it is in two weeks.
Keep it up Scott! You’ve got this!
I’ve been doing the shakes for 5 days now I do the chocolate shake with unsweetened almond milk a small to medium banana with 3/4 cup Greek plain yogurt and about 4 ice cubes for breakfast then I go to the gym and when I leave I have a chocolate ideal bar about 2 in a half to three hours I have a chicken breast cooked in olive oil spray and Mrs. Dash lemon pepper with a bunch of steamed broccoli and a half of cup of brown rice.. I always add hot sauce then it tastes amazing. Then about 2 in a half hours later I eat cantaloupe with a piece of cheese and a boiled egg. And for my last meal I make a chocolate shake with pb2 and oatmeal and it tastes so yummy. If I get hungry in between meals I try to snack on celery or fruit … I’m pretty impressed with how good the shakes taste I think next week I will work on making my own recipes and see what new ones I can come up with!!!! After just having a new baby 5 months ago ideal shape has really burst rd my confidence
Great job Catrina! So happy that we can help and that it’s working and tasting good! Keep it up! 🙂
I started IdealShape on January 20 (Wednesday). My weight on January 19th was 188.0. I weigh myself every Friday. This past Friday (January 29th) I weighed 180.0! YES, I lost TEN pound in TEN DAYS!!! For the most part, I follow the plan. I just started the treadmill (only 30 minutes but not daily ,yet) along with doing a few crunches on the ab lounge. I have to do baby steps as far as physical workouts due to health issues. It is my goal to be able to walk 6 miles (5-6 days per week) within the next 6 weeks!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that I learned of IDEALSHAPE! We are going to have a LONG-TERM relationship!!!
Nice Lynn! So proud of you! Keep up the awesome work!! 🙂
I’ve been following the meal plan and drinking 2 shakes a day, I just bought ideal boost and I’ll start adding 1 of those in tomorrow. I’ve lost 7.5 pounds so far.
Nice Marci!! That’s awesome!!
Only lost 3lbs…ugh….I’ve been doing both the 12 week and also the 15 day every day. It’s a little disappointing…I’ve seen ppl, loose a lot more…also drink the shake at lunch…
Make sure you’re sticking EXACTLY to the meal plan 100%!! That’s when you’ll see results!
14 days – 7 pounds down and 38 pounds to go.
Absolutely Love!!!!
Nice job!
Today is my two week mark and I’ve actually gained 3 pounds. I keep telling myself now is the time! But I just keep gaining. I can’t stop binging, even with the shakes and ideal burn. I’m so frustrated and depressed I’ve considered starving myself to lose this weight.
I’m so sorry Phoebe! Binging is the reason for the weight gain… If you can get to the point where you’re sticking to the plan exactly then I’m sure you’ll see results! Please don’t starve yourself to get there! Following the plan is the best way to go!
You should also go join the IdealShapers community on Facebook! If you follow that group and become active in it you will find others with similar goals as you and you will get so much support. I am active in that group as well as Kaytlin and others here at IdealShape. Please reach out to us on that group when you feel like you’re about to binge! We care and are here to help you!
I’ve lost 9 lbs in 2 weeks and would lije to thank you for all the help you gave and give❤️???
Great job Laura!
15 days for me with new diet and exercise. Day 1 250lbs to day 15 238lbs. I have been doing 1800 calorie days with 5 meals a day. I have been doing the ideal shakes and I am real happy with them. I pre make my meals for several days and portion them all out into containers. My biggest hurdle has been giving up soda. I am felling much better just by eating healthy food and exercising again.
So happy you are doing so well! Have you heard of our IdealBoost? They are a great alternative to soda! Glad you are doing great. 🙂
It’s been two weeks since I have started the shakes. I’m down 7lbs and haven’t even started my workout videos yet. Love the shakes and can’t wait for the bars to come in the mail.
That’s amazing! Congrats Kaitlyn!
Started the Monday after I received my shipment so two weeks will actually be in end of this week. But lost 5 pounds the first week. Seems to be working ok.
Nice Teresa! Keep it up!!
I started the plan not quite 2 weeks ago and have lost 2 pounds and a couple of inches. I have experienced some bloating and gas, but I know that is from changing my eating habits. Love the protein shakes and ideal bars and most of all I don’t have the cravings for sweets as much as I before. I’m hoping to have more energy soon, but all in all I am very pleased with the Idealshape products.
Stay at Gayla! You can do it!
Been on the 12 week challenge for 2 weeks now and following it completely with both nutrition and workouts but gained 2.5#. Frustrated but starting the 15 day challenge. So hopefully that darn scale will go down instead of up. Love the shakes.
Hi Karen! Make sure you are following the IdealPlan 100%. Also, sometimes when you are gaining muscle, it can cause weight gain. Stick to it though- and you will see results!
Since I started my life style change in January I have lost 11.8 lbs. i have enjoyed learning new recipes for my family and I to share in the evenings. My biggest hurdle has been the workouts. My back gets to the point where it feels good then I start doing a little something then it goes out. For the first time though I will be starting a yoga class to hopefully help strengthen my core and back. I am loving the shakes and the snack bars! Was I supposed to get a idealplan book as well as the recipe book or is that all in one?
The recipes are in the IdealPlan eBook.
I didn’t get the idealplan ebook just the shake recipes
Hi Trista! I’m sorry to hear about that! If you want to message us on Facebook with your email, we can send that to you!
Can I just say that I love IdealShape!? I LOVE IT. I only lost one pound the first week despite following the meal plan with the daily exercise. I decided to stick to it even though I was feeling a bit discouraged. Then last week I lost 3 pounds, for a total weight loss of 4 pounds! I can definitely tell a difference in how bloated and tired I used to feel! I find myself looking forward to drinking the shakes in the morning (I have the chocolate kind) and I can’t wait to see how I feel at the end of the month!
I would say that the biggest hurdle is actually spending money on healthy food at the grocery store! It is really expensive for me because I am a college student in debt, living on my own with bills to pay, and working full time. I hope that I can figure out a way to budget the healthy food into my life!
Thank you Idealshape for giving me the tools and resources I needed to start the weight loss, and I’ll also thank myself for a job well done! 🙂
Here’s a blog post that might help you with saving more on healthy food: http://idealshape.com/how-to-eat-healthy-on-a-budget/ 🙂
Two weeks in. I lost two pounds the first week. Love the variety of the shakes, but really miss actual eating. Going to jump back in starting tomorrow and may adjust which meals o replace!
You’ve got this Kris!
I’ve lost 2.2 pounds – my biggest snack time is when I get home from work – eating junk while making dinner – I’ve been having the Ideal shakes for lunch and I’m not hungry. I’ve made the chai shake with vanilla and the pina colada both delicious and filling.
