Oh boy! You know what I love? Pancakes. I do, I really do! This recipe is great because not only are you getting your protein and using natural ingredients, BUT THEY ACTUALLY TASTE GOOD!
You will need:
1/2 cup oat flour
1 scoop of Vanilla IdealShake mix
2 tbs unsweetened apple sauce
1/2 apple (chopped into chunks)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tbs dark chocolate chips, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp salt (optional)
1/2 an apple (sliced thin)
2 tbs oatmeal
1 tbs chopped pecans
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp Stevia
1 tbs honey
Mix all the pancake ingredients together in a large bowl. Pour spoonfuls on pan that are the size of your palm over medium heat and cook with coconut oil or Pam. Cook each side about 3-5 minutes.
Makes about 4 pancakes.
Topping: Layer the apple slices in an oven safe pot/pan with non stick cooking spray. Mix oatmeal, vanilla, pecans, stevia, cinnamon and honey together and top with the apple slices. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
You can use sugar free maple syrup, or just eat them as is!
