Jenna was the first ever winner of the IdealShape Challenge. Her story is amazing! Since she and her husband recently got back from their cruise, we wanted everyone to know what it takes to win the challenge and achieve a healthy lifestyle.
Here’s what she had to say about her cruise:
“Overall, this was one of the best vacations we’ve had. It was so relaxing just hanging out on the beach and the ports were amazing! The cruise line and stewards were all second to none.”
…and now for the incredible story of her weight loss journey and how she achieved her ideal
I am a 27-year old, stay at home mother of 2. I have a 2-year old and a 5-month old. After I had my first child, I had a lot of trouble getting the weight off. I weighed 186 pounds and I never really thought too much about it. One day, I started looking back through an old photo album and it was startling to realize how I had let my body go. I was using pregnancy as an excuse for all the weight gain. After pregnancy, I kept eating like I did while pregnant and thought the weight was going to just fall off, but of course it didn’t.
I was looking for ways to improve my health and eating habits when I came across IdealShape. My motivation to lose weight came from wanting to look good when my husband returned from military deployment. So I started the program and three months later, I got down to 132; I lost 6 dress sizes and 54 lbs!
I love IdealShape because instead of skipping meals and then eating whatever is convenient, I just throw the shake in my blender bottle and go. I always carry it with me so I don’t have the urge to eat unnecessary food. I substitute my morning meal and lunch with a meal replacement shake almost everyday, excluding my cheat day during the weekend. I cleaned out my kitchen of the junk food and looked for healthier versions of my favorite recipes. I never get sick of the shake because I am always changing it up making it taste different with various fruits or pb2 (peanut butter). I stopped telling myself “I can’t” and replaced it with “I can” or “I will” from that point on!
Jenna is amazing and we’re so happy she had such a great time on the cruise! More importantly, we’re excited that she lost weight and got to her ideal shape. It’s also impressive that she’s been able to maintain and keep the weight off due to her new habit of using a meal replacement shake to curb unnecessary hunger.
Now it’s your turn to have a shot at your own cruise, so submit to our IdealShape Challenge with your weight loss story including a before and after photo for a chance at 7 days of fun in the sun! Start now and get your ideal shape!
