Exercise: The All-or-Nothing Mentality

“I procrastinate because I’m a perfectionist!” you say “I need to have the perfect set up before I can start!”

“Not True” Says Science in a harsh tone.

“There are just so many options out there, how can I ever pick the right one for me?” You respond defensively.

“The only real factor is you” Science shakes its head.

“Fine. It’s just too much, I can’t keep up!” You say.

“Even a small amount of daily exercise greatly improves your health” Science has their hands on their hips now.

That’s a big one. Many of us don’t exercise because it’s something we think is an all-or-nothing kind of deal. If you’re not getting enough exercise then there is no point to it.

In fact, there are a lot of benefits to even small amounts of exercise on the body. In our book “IdealShape for Life” we have an exercise regimen that is broken into 10 minute segments. Even doing one of them a few times a week will make you happier, healthier, and will bleed positive consequences into other aspects of your life.
