As a personal trainer, I get asked all the time if it’s possible for a client to lose a lot of weight really quickly. People are always looking for the easy way out, or the fastest track to their weight loss goals.

I totally understand why people ask those questions–once you have a goal in mind, you want to do everything possible to see results really quickly. Seeing results is awesome and it feels great! However, with weight loss, your results might take a little longer.

Because your body can’t function for long periods of time on too few calories, these fad diets are not sustainable. A sustainable diet can lead you to lasting weight loss results and a healthier lifestyle.

How to Diet the Healthy Way

Making small, healthy choices that become habits is the way to lasting weight loss success. If you want to make a lasting change, you need to live a healthy lifestyle.

Filling your diet with healthy fruits and veggies, whole grains, and lean meats will help your body be healthy as you workout and lose weight. Setting reasonable workout goals for yourself will keep you accountable and help you succeed.
