What’s Your Favorite Healthy Smoothie? IdealShape Staff Picks

Most of us that work here at IdealShape aren’t just promoters of the product, we’re also using it to create our own ideal shapes. To that end, I decided to ask around and see what everyone’s favorite shake recipe is and why they chose that one.

Here’s what they had to say:

Natasha – Customer Service Manager – Mocha Smoothie

“This is my favorite healthy smoothie for the mornings because there is something so comforting for me about the taste of coffee in the morning. Plus by using the mocha flavored Silk, it’s a lot healthier than a cup of coffee.” Since Silk has 7g of protein, that means you’ll get a total of 18g with the shake. Most nutritionists agree that a good amount of protein in the morning will help your brain wake up and function better.  Here are the simple ingredients:

  • 1 Scoop IdealShape Vanilla
  • 8 oz. Silk Iced Mocha
  • Ice

Skyler – Co-Owner – Protein Berry Blast

“This is definitely my favorite post-workout shake. It has some additional protein and nutrients for you and still tastes amazing. I drink it after nearly every workout.” Also, feel free to pack in as much fresh spinach as you like. It’s great for iron and fiber and you won’t really notice much of a taste difference, if any:

  • 2 Scoops IdealShape Vanilla
  • 8 oz Skim Milk
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ Cup Mixed Berries
  • 1 Cup spinach
  • Ice

Whitney – Customer Service Rep – Peanut Butter

“I love getting out of a tough work out and putting together a peanut butter shake! I always feel a little shaky and need something to boost my energy and help rebuild my muscles. I feel good and satisfied after the shake and can go on with the rest of my day feeling awesome.”

  • 1 Scoop IdealShape Chocolate
  • 8 oz Water
  • 1 Scoop PB2
  • Ice

Marilyn – Social Media Manager – Butterfinger

“I got this recipe from our own customers and have loved this every time I make it. It’s more of a dessert smoothie, but it does the perfect job satisfying my sweet tooth without going overboard on the sugar and calories. My favorite healthy smoothie would have to be the Butterfinger.”

  • 1 Scoop IdealShape Chocolate
  • 8 oz Almond Milk
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugarfree Butterscotch Pudding Mix
  • 2 Tbsp. PB2
  • Ice

So there you have it. Check in with us on Facebook and Twitter for more recipe ideas and an awesome community of shapers.
