Happy National Caramel Popcorn Day!!!! It’s my favorite day of the YEAR. Okay, maybe that’s a little bit of an overstatement, but I love caramel popcorn.
I’m in the middle of my weight loss journey, so I can’t go eating buckets of caramel popcorn like I wish I could. Way too much sugar, not enough protein.
But when IdealShape released this DELICIOUS Salted Caramel Popcorn recipe, I could not resist. It’s so yummy & uses one of my favorite IdealShake flavors, Salted Caramel! I made up a big batch of this and portioned it out for some snacks during the week. Try it out!
Salted Caramel Popcorn
½ c organic coconut sugar
¼ c unsweetened coconut milk
1 scoop Salted Caramel IdealShake
8 c air popped popcorn
- Heat coconut sugar and coconut milk over medium heat until boiling. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in Salted Caramel IdealShake until fully powder has dissolved fully.
- Pour over popcorn and mix until all popcorn is coated. Pour onto wax paper and let cool until caramel has set. Enjoy!
