Hopefully they restoc this since I add this to my shakes. It’s not good by itself but it’s very nutritious and great with the other shakes.
I got this in hopes the other reviews would be wrong— I hate to say- this is the first product that I am going to just throw away.. it is horrible!! 😩
This tastes like greens powder. It’s not good, but I mix it in my berry/banana smoothies and it hides the taste. I like that it has rhodiola in it, among other adaptagens and anti-oxidants. It’s also a decent price when it’s on sale.
I mix mine with OJ, looks nasty, but tastes great! Who couldn't use more greens in their diet!
I LOVE the idea of this product and have used " greens" suplements in the past. But due to a severe Iodine alergy I have to be careful. When I saw this has none I was so excited! The price was right and the nutrirional facts are maazing. HOWEVER. 1. The serving is soooo big that it overpowers the taste of anything! Most of these are literally half the serving size due to it. I have to double my protein scoops just to help. 2. The only way to help with the taste is to 1/2 the serving and do it a few times a day. I more than likely won't nuy this again. I have 2 full tubs to go through. 3. I have also mixed 2 boost pacjets to try and choke it down. VERY difficult to drink. Good luck. If you like the tazte of straight , very strong herbal tea( only comparision i can come up with) then it is for you.
I got this as a free gift. I probably won't order it again. It wasn't bad, but it's hard to tell the difference.
I admit I was skeptical after reading all of the reviews. It seemed like every one of them said the Idealgreens has a horrible taste. Just recently I returned a Vega pre-workout after one serving because I just could NOT do the taste... I gotta tell you, the Idealgreens is not bad!! It kinda tastes like you've added dry grass into your drink haha. It is earthy but not bad. I can definitely stand a full scoop in my post-workout protein and my afternoon Idealraw protein. Even my 11 year-old daughter drinks it. I've been drinking it a for a couple weeks. I can't say I've noticed anything major but I love how easy it is to add some vegetables with the vitamins and minerals to your diet. Definitely recommend!
This tastes and smells just like matcha tea (which is excellent for you). It also makes everything that it is blended with taste like matcha as well. There is no masking the taste. It's not bad, but don't try to make it better, it won't work.
I cant stand the taste as is. I tried simply mixing it with my shakes and it still was hard to choke down. I found I can use half a scoop if I blend my shake with fruit or peanut butter. But only half a scoop. A full adds too bad of a taste for me.
This is a better option than IdealShake Super because you can control how much "Greens Superfood" you add to each shake. I found the taste overpowered my shake, so I opted to mix 1/2 a scoop per scoop of shake or add two scoops of shake per scoop of greens superfood. Either way, this is a great and easy way to add veggies to a diet.
