In my quest to lose weight for medical reasons, I researched, bought, and tried many protein powders, shakes, and meal substitutes. I looked at so many I can't recall how I found idealshape. The Vegan shakes are the real deal. Review the ingredients. I doubt you can find any better. As an added bonus, the taste is awesome.
I was excited to try the Vegan version of the Mocha and was very disappointed. I’ve tried several of the ideal shake flavors and this is the first I’ve really disliked, unlikely I’ll even ya the container as I dislike the texture and also find it has an odd aftertaste. Back to the original for me!
I was skeptical to get this because of the review I read. But since I am on the journey for vegan shakes and I'm also pregnant, I decided to spend my money on this. First, I tried it with water and it tasted pea flavored alkali chocolate. But when I mixed it with Soy milk, even my 5 year old picky daughter loved the taste! No chalky, alkali taste. Just creamy and smooth like a thick chocolate shake.
I was SO excited about this shake because of the Monk fruit sweetener! I thought, "finally!!!" I really wanted to get away from consuming so much of the artificial stuff. I bought both this, and the Vegan Vanilla Chi. Big mistake. Extreamy disappointed in the chalky texture. It's not enjoyable to drink, and I wouldn't be able to stay on the program if this were all that was offered. The "vegan" aspect really isn't an issue for me, I just truly wish they would start using Monk fruit in the other flavors. I lost a nice chunk of change on these two flavors. Back to the originals.
