What did you expect?
Surprised by all the negative reviews. Not sure what people expected for a filling serving of pancakes with little sugar and 180 calories Per serving. I add 1.5x the liquid (water or almond milk), cinnamon, salt, lankanto monk fruit sweetener and top with a little sugar free syrup. This keeps me full for 5 hours (way longer than the shakes) and goes well with morning coffee. Yes it is a bit dry in texture but the taste is fine. I think half a banana, apple sauce, yogurt, or sour cream in the batter could also improve texture if I get tired of eating it as directed, but so far, not needed. I am having trouble with overeating during covid and idealshape has helped me get back on track (and hopefully that track leads to my pre covid weight)!
Was very disappointed in the flavor and texture would not recommend
Not a fan
It is easy to make the pancakes because it only requires water. However, the taste isn't good. Even mixing in some cinnamon or nutmeg doesn't help. I would pass on this item moving forward.
Bought this so my mom could have pancakes and it’s amazing. However I did make a few slight changes. I added 1/2 cup water, splash of vanilla and a pinch of salt. She and I both love them!!!! They taste great and will definitely not leaving you feeling guilty
They flavor was really good. I made extra, and put in freezer so I could warm one up for a healthy snack!
Enjoy the taste I even add applesauce and made it like a cake.
This pancake mix is not my favorite. I had to add extra water for a better consistency and some cinnamon, vanilla and a banana just to try to get some flavors going. I dont use any syrup with my pancakes, just peanut butter, and even then it taste like nothing. I did eat it though, and I will sure enough finish the mix. Ill try mixing it with almond milk next time.
Well is good but I don’t love it. It need something. Mix with water make it like not tasty. I do my with almond milk and is better. Thank you for it
Great as a base
Quick to make and nice that you can make small, individual servings easily. The pancakes by themselves are very plain though, so I would use it as a base and add vanilla extract (or whatever flavorings you like), maybe cinnamon, sweetener, etc to the mix before cooking. Following the instructions the first time, it came out like biscuit dough, but adding more water helped. I think it helps to use a spoon to scoop the mix into the scoop it came with then level with a knife. Scooping straight from the container with the scoop it comes with makes the powder mix pack and then you get too much mix and causes thicker dough. Just a suggestion because otherwise the macros will be off, even if you do fix it with more water.
